I like how classic choose to upgrade the shields in G2, it make sense for a mass archon build, but few players actually do it. Also the shield upgrade works for all units and buildings, so at least the air units would get some upgrades if he would have decided to switch later. smart.

Being slightly fair to Shin's neural parasites in game 2, Creator did go to the effort of backing off the units right next to them and waiting for the parasites to time out, the first time. So they didn't go completely ignored! lol

@davidgimino9145 I think its closer to being a mix of Sc2 and Wc3 than something we can call a SC3. The camps/creeping elements alone push it more towards a WC3 successor. Same for the mining mechanics. All its missing is the hero mechanic to put the final egg in the basket.

I can't work out whether it's just that Creator plays really well or not, but watching zerg v protoss is like watching a water-melon go up against a brick wall. It's kinda disgusting how ineffectual zerg units are for the most part. And Ultralisks are hardly ultra, as I am clearly missing something but to me they don't seem to remain in a good place during the course of the game and post upgrades. Probably because they take damage all the time while can only do a quasi ranged attack while ranged units can fire even in melee range (or do they suffer some sort of penalty?) yet obviously they must be better than I think considering pro's build them. Zerg just seem to lack a good proper shield or spear unit like the protoss (immortal) or terran (ghost?). Maybe the grass really is just greener on the other side. But when Dark or somebody wins, they always seem like they are truly just playing better than someone who plays Protoss, who just seems to faceroll their way to victory in comparison (forming surrounds with units, microing better etc, more economy)

Hard to do if the protoss isn't asleep. You can right click a probe on a geyser then hold position to prevent the drone from morphing, assuming you don't just build the assimilator first. But also the zerg needs to send 2 (or more for hatch block) early drones which hurts their build basically just as much... and even if you're successful the toss just takes gasses at natural and builds a zealot. It's the kinda thing that can work in metal leagues

17:03 I feel like storm is so buggy. Supposedly does 80 damage, but the weird radius or way it calculates damage leaves a lot of enemies surviving at times

It does 80 damage split into 10 damage per several intervals It's not bugged, it's just balanced and allows counterplay to not have your armies decimated immediately

this is why i feel protoss needs some better options to face zerg cuz it's really hard for protoss to be able to actually beat the zerg, that first game I think creator played much better than shin did.........I think Pvt still favors terran a bit but it's not nearly as bad as protoss vs zerg is.......zerg and terran are pretty even......I think high level terran has advantage while low level zerg advantage is too big..........meaningful ways to deal with it, nerf queens more expensive energy on all abilities, lower their range as well.......vipers range nerf a bit making them more risk vs reward type of deal.......buff protoss by making all their units slighttly very very slightly cheaper.......make terran increase speed on vacs longer cooldown I think you have to research it too so make that upgrade slightly more expensive to give zerg a bit more time to be able to properly deal with vac drops from their nerfs. The idea if toss and terran do opt for early game air this should force zerg to have to build hydras earlier than they normally do to deal with it. Because going air for terran and toss is very expensive so it makes sense to counter act this zerg should have to sacrifice a bit of their economy to properly deal with early game air harrassment.....queens should not be the early game deterrent alone too many games I see zerg can easily just lean on zerglings for pretty much too long.
