I think Gumiho is a pretty cool guy, eh keeps his hand dry, goes mech and doesn't afraid of anything

My theory was that Gumiho's incredible bio play came from when the gold leaguers that he keeps locked in his basement to make build orders for him breifly escaped.

I usually dislike Terrans because of their abusive showstopper units (ghosts / mines), but here Gumiho demonstrates it's possible for a Terran to actually make a good show ! I giggled on my chair when i saw him starting the 3/3 air upgrades in G1. what a cinematic battle, i love it !! I also like his use of the firebats, it's seldom used strangely, but it's very effective against melee. Thanks winter !

Right?! I always boo every Terran because ghosts and mines are the most unfun, bull crap units in the game, and the whole TvZ medivac juggle against lings/banes is the most infuriating gameplay to watch AND play. But when it's Gumiho I always cheer for him in hopes that other Terrans look at what he does and decide they don't have to play the most unfun, obnoxious games to win.

@@proactivex Thank God for that. It only took buffing every other terran unit for the worst unit in the game to finally get a minor nerf. Still a good decision, would like it if the Factory cost a little less gas too

Game 1 Gumi just seemed to have a plan from the start. He was even upgrading the cyclones way before he used them for when it came time, and sure as hell pulled em out at the exact right moment. Same with the BC’s. Built them at just the right moment to shift moment again in his favor and then held them for that tactical dunk. God he just seems to be on a different level lately, I’ve always enjoyed his style but he really seems to have stepped it up and just seems way more confident in his play this tourney

Winter really said it, Gumiho have to look for more creative plays and all he has to do is to just delay it to a sub optimal time that other players thought he wouldn't go for it because a pro would never be late to it that long.

Love the two Thor drop early.. I think if Gumiho brings 4-5 mech medivacs aka scvs.. he wins with that first push

I'm a little disappointed Reynor didn't stay in the game just a minute longer to let us see the ultra-rare full elimination

That first game was fun as hell. So much firepower.

I love how Gumiho's style of play is so much more body punches to open up the knockout punches. He is aggressive enough with his army counts that he can force trades based on tactical locations, while teching behind it. The amount of scouting and understanding the balances of pressure to win trades but not overstaff to keep tech on schedule is really commendable. Only with him and Serral do I feel like the sensation that the map is a 3rd neutral party that can be utilized to gain favor if you are proactive the prep the situations. So fun to watch!

I'm not sure if this is just me, but I root for Terran no matter who is playing. Just an added bonus when that Terran is Gumi, Byun, Maru, etc.

As a person with hyper hydrosis, can confirm I had to switch to mouse and keyboard from controller originally for video games because my hands were so sweaty. still have to wipe off my mouse cuz it's got water from my hand tho

Broods is a joke unit. Idk why someone tries make them work. Outranged by anything, deal close to 0 damage in such numbers, cost like wtf, 0 mobility and impossible to run on theyr own. Also 4 supply. Every time I c muta timing or brood switch mentally i'am ready to c zerg loose, and most of the times its correct. Also so fun watching zerg trying to split evenly and controll queen infestor viper brood roach ravager, meanwhile mech rolling with trollface =D
