650? Wow! Very very Underwhelming property minus the land. No chefs kitchen bathrooms are cheap with the inserts. Even at 499 not worth it! Looked at the same style house for 320 with much nicer finishes. Im looking in the area but the kitchen and bathroom is def a no go. Would have to spend too much to make it livable. Add a pool upgrade the bathrooms flooring kitchen. Not even pavers in the driveway or back patio. A cheap box on 1/2 acre! Good luck! Going back through Orlando clermont grove land and Palm beach at 499.

I agree. The house inside is really dark. It’s a nice house the builder needs to put more upgrades. It’s normal in Ocala. This why I am building my own house in the area.

In the market coming, $250-275k. tops. Hope this builder did not pay too much for the property. They may get some sad sap sucker who had some other sad sap sucker buy their middle class house in midwest for insane price. However, these days are almost gone. Good luck for finding some young immigrant minority buyer that get preferred approval “zero down” mortgages. Those days are also ending. Thanks to high monthly payments now, even the most foolish lenders will stop loaning out cash for payments that reach 70-80% of net (after taxes) monthly income.

Needs to be closer to 400k when you consider the bathrooms need upgrading, the lanai screened, and all the appliances. You didn't mention if its connected to public water and sewer.
Sorry, not worth the 499k nor 450k even for cash, maybe at 435k????? The back patio should have 2 fans with some recessed lighting. Large house, but the kitchen cabinets should have been a little taller by 9". The outside of the house looked more luxurious than the inside.

Shingle roof, carpet and 36 inch cabinets make this house barely worth 400k. Let alone the fact that it's in Ocala. lol
The news tax rate and the new rate of home insurance draw people out of Florida.
I like the Circular concrete driveway. The 1/2 acre lot is great. Circular archways to the rooms nice. It is not the open concept most people want. There would be expenditures for several appliances. Several of the rooms have high ceilings. Block and stucco, with a stack stone border desirable as Hurricane season is here. $499,000 seems like good value, $750,000 in my county.

For this house, $300-400K... anything over $450K is just ridiculous.

They missed the mark on the floorplan. The entrance room/hall is useless. No dining room needed. Should be one open floorplan great room with a dining area. I wouldn't want this closed in feeling. Kitchen not laid out well either. I feel the archways are very dated. Needs landscaping, appliances, tile shower in main bath, replace builder carpet, etc. I'd pay $350k...maybe...its Ocala not Tampa or Fort Myers.
They’ve lost their minds!!! In Ocala. $350,000 tops!!!! This will end up as a foreclosure. That land will be selling for $100,000 next year. Ouch!!!
The first comp you talked about sold in March. Everything’s changed from March till November. You never mentioned when the other comp sold but if it’s sold more than five months ago it’s not a direct comp either. That would be deceitful information for your client.Florida is going to drop anywhere from 30 to 50% in value over the next year or two. Ocala will be hard hit!

Can't compare California to Florida. People are abandoning California for a reason.
To basic for the price and not to sure about the cathedral ceiling and cheap tiles
They can discount so much is because they are way way over priced, to begin with!

I agree def overpriced and has carpet lol I have been looking in Ocala and Citrus Springs. kitchen is not that spectacular for the price.
