I purchased this kit based in part from this video. I like it, but my bass drum sound isn't nearly as deep and rich and it sounds here. Are you using the stock sounds? Any tips to achieve a better bass drum sound from this kit.

My ded-300 isn't picking up my snare when I hit it, instead it's picking up the snare rim. Do you know how I can get the snare working again

Answering late, buuuuuut...the problem for me was in the red cable (that was " loose"). I used a soldering iron to solve it.
