I like the format but I think there’s a lot of empty space. Not sure if it was intentional though if not I’d maybe expand the TV or play into the theme more by adding 90’s basketball elements. Maybe some retro jersey’s, old posters. Keep up the content! ✊🏿

Make the font on the text fit totally within the TV and maybe put an effect over it to make it look like it’s on a CRT TV and you probably have a solid format.

The new camera is awesome! Gives your channel an authentic unique look.

If Monty was playing Uno, he would try to play the wrong color and number every time and hope nobody calls him out on it

The bar for Detroit to improve from last year is remarkably low, at this rate they just need to get at least 15 wins while competing against the likes of Washington, Toronto and even the Nets. BTW I do appreciate using older hardware to replicate a classic look than just using some effects in post. I've thought about using my dad's old 80's camcorder and doing a VHS-to-digital conversion for something.

15 wins would still be embarrassingly bad as it would almost certainly earn them a last place finish for the 3rd year in a row. I think they need to finish with 25 wins or more. That'd be their best season since 2018/2019.

The Washed Wizards will be a massive bar to clear for failure, especially if they successfully trade Kuzma If the Pistons fail to get at least 24 wins this season they should seriously consider a massive swing to completely retool the team

Couple notes. I love the camcorder being used. That combined with your personality and lo-fi beats just make listening to your videos so easy. Second off I've never really had a "team" in the NBA. If I had to pick a team it would be SA because I loved me some Tim Duncan. I won’t say the Pistons will be "my team" but I am gaining a new appreciation of them through you.

2:35 if you are gonna rock with the VHS tape vibe, maybe instead of green screen, do just like a picture in picture to complete the whole VFX. Either way, I'm glad to hear Detroit Basketball is going back on the upward tragetory haha

Also Harris, Beasley, Hardaway, Paul Reed, Fontecchio, Moore is such a solid group of experienced players that fit needs on and off the court. Reed in particular feels like he could be a Stewart replacement down the line.

Watched Bobi Klintman a bunch of times in the NBL(everyone here jsut called him Bobby) and he looked like a hell of a prospect. Streaky 3 shooter but his confidence made me think he'll improve a lot, same as his defense.. and dude is just a mega athlete. Good 2nd round pick for sure, wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a better option than Ausar within a yr or two

There was a good buzz about Jalen Duran to start the year last year with some analysts thinking the pistons could make some noise potentially making the play in. Monty definitely deserves some criticism

i wish you showed how bad lonzo's shot was before he went to NOLA. its honestly criminal. if ausar or holland can make open 3's next year, it completely changes our trajectory. langdon has made some smart moves. im trying very hard to not be excited for next season until i see the product on the court.

Best example of Fred’s influence is with Brandon Ingram. Had one of the biggest shooting jumps ever when he landed in NO.

Honestly I think its totally on ownership for continuing to pursue Monty last year. Diehard Pistons fan here but he explicitly said he needed time off and we should have believed him. His wife was battling with cancer, but he had no choice but to move because the amount of money on the table didnt make sense to turn down. His mind was other places and the constant losing and now having one of the worst records possible for a coach is something that is going to haunt him. The losses affected him a lot, you could see the emotion on him. A lot of our coaching issues obviously came from him, but I dont blame him that much. I genuinely wish him the best.

Monty Williams was put in the cushiest job in the world. All he had to do was to make a bad team just a little bit better and give all of his young talent a thorough examination by playing them a lot. It seems as if that chore was too difficult for Monty who didn't want to put in the guys that were going to be the future of the team. Monty took the job for the money and then decided he was too good to be in charge of such a crappy team. Troy Weaver didn't help things either. I do like the Simone Fontecchio move though.😊

I dont mind the home camera vibe. Im a nineties kid. I grew up antennas and hunderd pound floor model tvs.
