    If the pelicans would have beaten LA in the play in then the entire bracket would have shifted up to the conf finals

    Im biased as I very much dislike Bron but the problem is Bron and less than Rob. The coaches know this but the fans will ignore it.

    Some extra stuff from Basketball reference…. * Pistons gave minutes to 31 players over the 82 games. * And when those minutes were given, they were really rationed. 104 NBA players played 2000+ minutes this season….. 2 of them were #67 Ivey (2217) and #90 Cade (2074). * So many Pistons’ players got match-time crumbs. The top 6 players in minutes played on the Pistons (10,425 combined) had not much more than the remaining 25 players (9,330 combined).

    It is insane to me that the Pistons had to trade and waive players to get the coach to stop playing them

    I think an important part of this is Richard Jefferson and JJ Reddick merging their companies which was a very smart in the wake of all the ESPN layoffs. Now those two have a lot better leverage if ESPN tries to force them to renegotiate their contracts and accept lowering their salaries. Now they can say our independent thing is going so well, we can leave and take our audiences with us. Stephen A is a company man through and though, so is either personally jealous of RJ and JJ's leverage or threatened that they now have a bargaining position thay could undermine his own.

    Dan Hurley just wanted to get more money so he leveraged the Lakers 🤌 🤌 Woj was in on it since they’re good friends. They definitely played the Lakers ☠️

    There’s not a single person on this planet that could’ve coached this team to more than 20 wins. The players are just mediocre and don’t gel. If our over/under on wins was 25 next year, I’d bet my entire life’s savings on the under.

    Sas is mad that there is proof you can talk basketball intelligently without hot takes and silly talking points and smearing players names being prisoners of the moment. That podcast proves you can….plus I’d rather hear from people who have done it or coached it at the highest levels over those who just watch it. Hell I “just watch it” so what I need you for 😂

    The reality is that he didn’t want to be there. He was obviously offered way too much money to turn down and just went to chill. The sad part is he will get another job, most likely with a contender and do fairly well. That’s the annoying and frustrating part is that he can come in, not care at all, get fired, get guaranteed millions after, then get another job.

    i hate this move for the pistons. i want the pistons to protest basketball by signing klay and harris to 4 year max deals and resigning killian hayes and trading cade for cash going 0-82 being so bad silver has to step in to force gores out

  • @monkeyman9856
    @monkeyman98564 сағат бұрын

    Honestly I’d rather have this be reality than hold onto the hope that we can maybe be a play-in team someday. I don’t think there’s any coming back from this hell that the pistons are in. They should just move the team to another state.

    10:19 who expects a guarantee of returning? That’s just silly…making the Finals is a huge achievement, regardless of what happens in the future…what a bizarre take…are you a Lakers fan? That sounds like salty Lakers talk 😂

    The talk I was hearing was his coaching style just didn’t fit what this team needed. That the team needed someone with a little more drive and discipline and Monty’s sort of a nice easy attitude type of coach. Which his style would work on a lot of other teams, just not in Detroit.
