This Navy SEAL Serial Killer Was INSANE... (*DISTURBING TRUE STORY*)

Ойын-сауық

Ben Sifrit, a former Navy SEAL and his wife, Erika Sifrit, embarked on a gruesome weekend getaway in the sunny seaside town of Ocean City, MD. The story went mainstream in 2002, around the time the incidents occurred and has since resurfaced among popular podcasts, including the Joe Rogan Experience.
While in Ocean City, MD the Sifrit's would spend the afternoons at the beach and the nights at clubs looking for potential victims. On May 24th 2002 while boarding a resort bus on 143rd street in Ocean City, the Sifrit's didn't have exact change to purchase the bus ride. Nearby passengers and couple Joshua Ford and Martha Crutchley covered the Sifrit's fare. The couples hit it off and made plans to go out together later that night.
Around 11pm the couple made their way to Seacrets nightclub. Where Joshua Ford, an army veteran and Ben, bonded over the military.. sharing stories of BUD/s and the SEAL Teams- while Martha Crutchley and Erika gossiped over shots. Both couples raged through the night.. and after last call the Sifrit's invited the couple back to their vacation rental, at the rainbow condominiums.
What happened next, is only known to the Sifrit's. But what is known is Joshua Ford & Martha Crutchley were never seen again.

How he was able to shoot inside of the hotel multiple times and not immediately get caught is kind of mind blowing. Based on the size of the hotel from the pictures shown it seems like at least 20 people should have heard that…

Kinda hairy as they could have just left the apartment I mean granted we don't have the full police convo and it varies state to state ofc. But then they fired shots and dismembered 2 bodies with what? Saws? All without drawing any notice from the rest of the hotel?

Gunshots are not that noticeable or recognizable to people outside a room, others will simply play it off in their brain as stuff being moved or dropped if they do hear it. Coupled with a hotel where most don't want to deal anyone else business. That how house shootings normally go if you want to look into it. (Also think most old homes don't have insulation between the inner room walls, Where a hotel would further adding to a reduction.) For the example of house shootings the was a instance of a domestic case in a subdivision with an active neighborhood. There was a instance where a marine got back from a deployment and the wife served papers on him for a divorces to shack up with a jodi. According to the official statements guy tied up the wife and shot the jodi, then planned to set fire to the wife. she manages to get untied wrestle the gun away from said marine then shot him as the house was burning down. While this is a transcript of the official statement. I knew a PMO (MP) that had arrived to the scene afterword's when questioned the statement didn't match what she told the locals. But being low down on the pole he was basically told she was stressed and was getting mixed up, not to worry about it, as locals did the rest. Side note article didn't say it, But when she was tied up the marine shaved her head and said "I'm sending you to back to the rest of the pigs". Since the divorce wasn't finalized she kept the honors and benefits as a military widow, Base access, Health care, and the cash death benefits of her husband (A min of 500k), a few other things. I was still stationed there a few years after and last I heard she had moved to another house near by and was still staying near the base. EDIT: I was not trying to go that in depth on an example but it just shot up in my memory. But yeah, Gunshots even in housing developments are not that noticeable as one may think. Isn't it more because of Media and True Crime stuff that you think you're really at risk of being a murder victim? I'm not American and used to go to stranger places as a group all the time after going out or whatever. Being afraid of being a victim and not doing those experiences sounds pretty dull. How many couples get murdered again because of visiting another couple? One out of 50 Million maybe? What's the chance to be run over by a bus in front of your apartment? 1:100000 maybe at any time. Just set your priorities straight.

I tried to find some hard evidence on this, but I've come up short. I had a history teacher years ago who told me that in the 80s/90s(?) some SEALs in Coronado got so upset by the drug situation that they would wear balaklavas and raid crack houses with bats, taking all of the drugs and money and destroying it, while beating the dealers to near death. Apparently the SDPD caught on to it, contacted the guys and basically just said it's enough, and the case got shoved away. Like I said, I haven't been able to find anything on it, but he was a history teacher from California.
