@@JacobStevens13 I'm a hillclimb, time attack, slalom and rally fan but i also understand that ovals are crazy and dangerous as well.Driving at such high speeds, with tires having no chance to cool down and constantly enduring high G's,which makes chances of them exploding rather high-that takes guts as well and certain amount of craziness as well. After all,you go at speeds between 220 and 240 mph.
@rainyprac
2 жыл бұрын
@@hillclimbracingfan5821 Nascars are so safe these days drivers have no problem crashing the whole field if it benefits them. I think the drivers forget too easily how deadly the sport is because they are competitive. There will be another tragedy one day. But to be fair, if you give a bunch of people 500+ horsepower and say "go faster than everyone else" you can't blame them when they are more reckless than they really should be.
It was so fun to race you side by side like that. Cheers on the win bro!

Full credit to Schuman, who did the majority of the spotting, and Sam as well in a pinch. Both were extremely useful for strategy, even if they did have a couple disagreements at certain stages, but I imagine it's not much different in a team dynamic -- though some crews probably have an official superseding hierarchy in those instances. Schuman's calm delivery struck the right balance for giving information; an incredible job.

Just work your way up, I started in a league with 2x20min races, then 2x35min, then 1 hour club races on Racedepartment and last weekend I did my first 24h race in Le Mans with 2x2hr stints. P2 in GTE class out of 24 teams or smth 💪🏻
That moment when you realise that of course Jimmy won, he's a real-life racing driver.
A little tip for you; down the straights on an oval a Nascar should be slightly steering to the right constantly to keep it straight. I noticed you were straight on the straights which might be why you struggled with the corners. Very well done on the win though.
I got a suggestion for you Jimmer: try the double! Some guys do the Indy 500 and Coke 600 in the same day IRL, and it’s a hell of a challenge.

Absolute amazing racing there jimmer. And can I say thank you. I'm not ashamed to admit I suffered from years of some serious mental health issues to the point that I had been unable to work and thanks to you and watching your videos I started SIM racing myself. I'll never be anywhere near as good as you or most people I race but it really help sort me out because rather than sit at home stressing and thinking about me issues I was to busy having fun racing and watching your video's and along with a very understanding and supportive wife I've turned a massive corner in my life. So again thank you sir.
Good win! Hats off!
You mad lad. You deserve it, and more. Sending a strong Man-hug your way.

Jimmerino palentino capping his FPS at 69 nice
He said "just gotta win in the Praga now", and then my heart exploded.
And 1 year later, he makes a comeback from 2 laps down to get p6 after running top 5 all race long.
Now if he can win the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400, he would be the British king of American Stock Car Racing
These recaps are golden 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dam! Nice job Jimmy!
that was a great video to watch. the end was so cool
Up to the late 90's they used to race 500 miles at Dover. Dover is a one mile track, so it would be 500 laps. The joke was they called those races "The 24 hours of Dover." because of how long they took. Same thing at Rockingham, which was slightly more than a mile, so it would be bout 490 laps. It was a grueling ordeal for the drivers. Sometimes at the end of the race, if it was a hot day, you'd see them having to drag the drivers out of their cars.
Wow! Great team effort!
i think youve got the best intros of any youtuber ive seen

they're up to 7 road course races this year i think. nascar is more about durability and endurance whereas F1 is about superiority and ingenuity. try dirt track racing. makes stock car seem easy.
