For people who are asking where the "other card" is coming from... you really need to pay closer attention. This is done at the beginning. He does a double lift, meaning he lifts 2 cards. The "this" card is on the bottom, and the "other" card was on top the entire time. He places the "other" card down first and throughout the entire video shifts the "other" card continuously around. There is only 1 "this card" and 1 "that card". Simple math really.

Hello? I have a question. I haven't had that much (if any) experience at double lifts, but I do find it harder doing it on fresh bicycle cards, so I use my older one. However when I performed this trick on my friend, she said that she could tell the double lift because she could see a change in thickness of the card. I did try to do it smooth and I tried not to have the card edges facing the viewer but she still picked up on it. Is there a way to get over this? Thank you very much.

@Jenna1386 it was there the whole time. If in the beginning u put the cards "other" then "this" then "that" (top to bottom) and follow the directions it'll come out like that in the end

Good vid The starting order of the cards from top is other this that. U double lift the this with the other , show this, then put the other down saying that ur putting this down. Then u follow the vid and it works itself out. :) gd vid btw

@11MessiLeonel If you use 800grade wet&dry sandpaper you can make the cards empty, just sands off the ink and laminate.

@143LLB you have the two card on top of this card. so this card is on bottom correct? you take one card off the top and show tht this card is still on bottom. and do that over again.

@peyt1720 Most magic shops sell various blanks. I have decks of blank front/blank back and blank front/bicycle back. They are great for making your own gaffed cards.

@MultiScrewy you can take like the jokers and the gurantee card and rub the ink of them with nail polish remover then get a sharpie and write this, that and other.. i did that and it work very well.

@Dannynguyen190 It basically means that throughout the entire trick, the guy with the card is only using two cards. The "other" card is the third card, always in there, but never shown till the end.
