If you would ever use advanced artillery it's against Malta.

Advanced artilery is prety good vs those turtle until age 4 civs, he caught you off guard with the mortars, and even if you see his deck has the card you can't be sure what he will do until you see the artilery foundry. now how did he vacuum prety much the entire map, completely ignored the left side to raid, idk
