It's not the players' fault, but the devs' that every special Maltese unit costs 2 pop. They have to change that and than people will use those units more.

I tried creating build orders caue i refuse to use xbow pike malta, but it's such a difficult Civ If you try to use something else, It works but you get countered so easely

@@jobenneburi have a ff goon/casador build that’s pretty fun. Add lancers and try going for industrial for the win. Big reason for malta is the shadow teching units and the shipments make your dudes better

@@thesheq5023 i experimented with sentinal flame tower, Hospitaller - longbow Hospitaller - fire thrower Fixed gun spam There is so much fun with these special units and shipment units. With q turtle potential civ like malta it sucks that rushing is still the civs meta 😂

@@jobennebur yea the extra 5-10 hitpoints on each xbow and pike and xp from killing stuff really adds up to a fantastic rush so I understand both sides

I love it when a player pulls it off to make big boy units like the hospitalers actually work. Still waiting to see a strong samurai play. That'd be cool

Hausa probably needed to go age 4 and get splash on the cav instead of staying age 3 and trying to falc. its too slow to clear the defenses on such a tight map. The map is so good for malta as well with that midldle choke and all the cliffs

I've been playing Malta alot, and the firethrowers with flamethrower and rockers are so much fun
