I like how he looks here, without the hat, and the makeup. Just simple, fresh and kind. The kindness and vulnerability in his eyes just breaks my heart. I want to hug him and tell him it will all be alright.

Great interview...10 years ago now, just as Adam Ant was taking his first tentative steps back into the public realm. He is articulate and shows so much humility, very genuine...Not sure that I've seen him coming over as human or enthusiastic as this in the years since he started touring and remorselessly marketing 'product' again. Also looks so much healthier without the facial hair, etc. Beware what you wish for?

I wonder if Adam even recognises himself in this today. Marco once said there were three versions of Adam. This one is the real deal but the one now and the other one in the mad mad world is the other are his alter ego's Praise must be said to Phillip Schofield here who was very empathic at the time. I doubt we will see this true version of Adam again but as long as he's alright and coping then that's all that matters.

Amazing how patient he was with these two idiots who kept interrupting him while he was still making his point. • @vermilliongecko

'They should be ashamed for their lack of pop-cultural knowledge'. I don't think you realise who a daytime TV magazine show is aimed it. It's aimed at stay at home mums, the chronically sick, people on the dole and pensioners, many of whom will have no idea who Adam is. Questions have to be pitched at the lowest level of knowledge because the broadcasters can't assume that viewers know ANYTHING about Adam Ant. It would be different if this was a music specialist show, but it's not. You're holding this show to an unreasonable standard. And Adam is more than happy to be there; it gives him a platform to sell his book, sell tickets to shows and discuss mental illness to millions of viewers, as this show has massive ratings. No different to when Adam did things like the Children's Royal Variety Show in 1982.

Joey Figgiani,I think you are spot on. Bottom line, they should be able to conduct a good interview, that's their job. They also have researchers at their disposal. Its embarrassing, the creepy patronising tactics from these coiffeured goons, who also apparently assume that their audience are brainless idiots, and lesser mortals. (Schofield is almost 8 years younger than Adam)

I have a illness called Bipolar that challenges me everyday... and nobody ever looks at this About You section.. to ever see and ever know this about my life... and if they do read this and find this out about me, they either suddenly, shun me, keep me at arms length... like Bipolar is a disease they might catch off me or just stop talking to me... I tell you the truth, many teenagers who are bipolar and don't know it, come age 17 will suddenly start having suicidal thoughts, be in a desperate hurry to die... feel self hate, no value and worthless, even thou there is no reason for them to feel this way at all and everything in there life is pretty ok and great... what is causing this is the actual bipolar disorder, taking control of the steering wheel of the mind and the young person having no clue to what the hell is happening with them. I know this because at age 16 and younger I was perfectly happy and full of energy ( But in constant High Mania, Bipolar Hyper ),,, but when I turned 17..... depression hit me like a FIST IN MY SKULL and it just got rougher by the day. I tell you the truth, it was only till around age 39 did I finally realise what was going on when ADAM ANT started speaking up about this sickness Bipolar that I started to understand I was sick, and it was not me that was depressed or suicidal, it was the Bipolar disorder illness telling me I was, when in fact I was not. So now I know who and what my enemy is, I now can fight back.... When the illness tells me negative crap, I know its Bipolar putting its fist in my skull and ignore it... Everything above was written many many years ago.. but now today a month from 2023, no matter how hard I try to outrun this illness called Bipolar... I always lose. Its like what they say about Vampires in the movies, THE FIRST ALWAYS WIN'S... I told someone a few months ago in 2022 I had Bipolar, next thing I know they are treating me different in an keep at arms length way... and just a week ago, this guitarist Blocked me on everything he could... because am Bipolar, yes... for Bipolar !!!. So now I have learned never to tell anyone I have this illness, as next thing you know... they suddenly stop speaking to me. But nobody ever reads this ABOUT ME part of Facebook to ever know and If anyone ever does... well they not told me or know how to speak to me about it maybe lol

He’s one of a kind, I gush about his looks but as I watch more interviews and such his soul speaks to me so much. I would love to be his friend, I feel he would have so many wonderful thoughts.
