This Mini DIY Teleprompter Will TRANSFORM Your Videos!

Ғылым және технология

As someone who struggles to talk to a camera, I decided to make a mini battery-powered teleprompter for vloggers out there that struggle like me.

Awesome project! That's just what I need because I have the same problem when I get in front of a camera. I have one suggestion, though: add a tripod adapter. This video had too much camera movement; it distracts from the subject matter.

Thanks for watching, glad you liked it! I do have a larger tripod version but it’s not battery powered, so I should definitely upgrade that!

Is the text scrolling really that choppy looking IRL, or is that just an artifact of the filming camera's shutter speed vs the screen's FPS?

Hey thanks for the comment! I think it’s a combo of those two things, though it is a bit noticeable in real life too. It’s not quite as bad as the video shows, but definitely not as smooth as the original teleprompter I made with the Raspberry Pi touchscreen.

Great job! Awesome, actually! But way too complicated, for me for example 😊. I make a teleprompter for cheap out of plywood and use tablet for screen and a small Bluetooth remote to operate with text. My last video is about this, check it out, if curios.

1:54 is not an Arduino micro…. That's a battery charging module… he-he sorry, I know you didn't do that on purpose.
