A little tip for when he plays again and ends up in a snow biome,wear leather boots when you walk through snow. They keep you from sinking into the soft snow.

@@Poopholderthat would be such a complicated thing to try and code for such a niche effect one singular youtuber has consistently stuck with but honestly if any community was gonna do it for anyone, this community would do it for kevin

God the mod community for games like this and Terraria never fail to amaze me with how good they are at making the world feel more alive and immersive with npcs having lives. Makes the world feel a million times less lonely in singleplayer.

No, it has a city building aspect with NPCs and jobs and you can find abandoned towns and such but I believe the dungeons are a seperate mod​@@massivelegend7599

Not sure if it was this or a different one, but I had a mod years ago that let you place a block that auto built buildings and people moved in. I found it more fun than building stuff myself XD

MineColonies is such an underrated mod. So much effort is put into it and its a totally different way to play minecraft.

those "spinny things" 1:52 are from the ars nouveau mod, they are entirely peaceful and can be tamed to help with tree things! I just think this makes it much funnier when he talks about going to war with them.

Damn, General Danny and Seven Tails bring back memories. Those videos tormenting Danny are what made me sub all those years ago, and Kevin's still delivering top quality videos

This mod idea has really come a long way, I remember playing a mod with the same premise like 10 years ago (that’s not hyperbole either) and it was just a mess of new game implementations that were kinda hard to even access and the helpers didn’t actually do anything, they were only there for RP purposes.

I love the little added immersion by muffling your voice when you're underwater.

I love the attention to detail. Like whenever he goes underwater, his voice gets muffled.

I adore minecolonies! I've spent hundreds of hours on this and I love seeing you cover it!

This is such an Underrated mod, thank you for giving it a recognition that it deserves Kevo!

Minecolonies is a giant mod that's very good. I'm glad you are giving the recognition it deserves. I hope you will continue playing it. There is so much to do with that mod.

The recommended builds to start this mod is the builder, lumberjack, miner and warehouse, after the first 4, you need houses before anyone else will join the colony

Kevin you can change the build presets to not be made of birch. I think there is a build for each type of wood and some stylized builds like medieval. Edit: nvm just watched Kevin find out for himself.
