I just won my first storage auction this morning. I paid what you all did. It looked like a bunch of boxes and very dusty. It is full of art, almost all of it framed. Some framed prints, oil paintings, water colors, charcoal drawings, pastel drawings and so much more. And boxes and boxes of books, mostly art and travel books. So excited to learn some new things about the art.

Hell to the NO baby boy. Those tables are worth between $600 and $700 . When I saw those my mouth dropped. My neighbor has 4 of them she paid almost $2000. Don't u dare sell them for no $50 u losing money me and her said u should sell for at least $200 a piece. They are gorgeous. U can get triple your money back for what u bought the storage for. Good luck. That's a great storage locker.

My grandmother died in 1980. We still have and use her wringer washer with two tubs. In fact, a local hardware dealer still sells new ones. None of her sheets or mine have ever went in a dryer. Wash, dry on clotheline. People have no idea how good that smell is. I bought a Maytag 10 years ago and it's been serviced 3 times already. Plus, a wringer wash let's you soak clothes which is 90% of the cleaning process anyway.

The old rules & such for buildings can be worth money to some people. In a house or commercial buildings code is at times what it said it was at the time the building was built. I worked in a place where those kind of books filled a room. We had plumbing, heating, electric, well water, on & on. If we didn't have the year we needed we had to run it down. Don't just tear thru them!

Amazingly, someone has managed to sell a Compaq 7360 on eBay for $120. I have no idea who would buy such an item, but there you go. I have to laugh when you look at the records, everybody born before 1960 will recognize them - you had a Rolling Stones record in your hand and didn't know what it was. You looked a Led Zeph album and didn't know what it was. Blind Faith was the first supergroup, with Eric Clapton from Cream and Steve Winwood from Traffic. The uncensored cover is worth a lot more.

Great buy on that storage unit! Thoroughly enjoyed this video. I would've bought the unit after seeing the table and that lamp. It's sad the lamp has condition issues but, it's very cool. And those tables are absolutely amazing. I only buy older furniture that's made of real wood and lasts forever. Be sure and get a good price out of those because they are definitely worth a good deal. You may want to even consider keeping them or maybe a family member might want them. That's the kind of furniture you hand down because it's built to stand the test of time. The albums and goden books, oh WOW! We had that same drummer boy album growing up. lol I think you're gonna make some great money off just the albums alone. What a great collection. I have a big collection of old golden books. I started collecting them when my son was little, now 21. They were always my favorite childrens books. I think with a storage unit like that, there may have been a huge life event, like a death in the family or divorce. The things in this unite reminded me of the things I found when cleaning out my parents house after they passed. In my situation, the house was sold and I only had a short time to get it cleaned out. I ended up buying a big storage building to put a bunch of stuff in and sadly had to leave a bunch of things behind. It's been a few years and I still haven't gone through my parents things. I'm guessing that's what happened here. I always get sad when I see these storage units being sold, because someone somewhere has a sad story. Thanks for the video. I like seeing different types of videos.

You need to keep all the figurine boxes with the items. I collection Precious Moments figurines and they are more valuable if you have the original box to go with the figurine.

That is sooo wierd, just 5 hrs. ago I was looking up little golden book " Animal counting book" from 1969(?) . About 7.00$ in mint, but the original 13, they're called, can go for a couple hunert apiece. Handle with care! P.S. My favorite when I was a tot " Tawny, scrawney lion" I could tell the story verbatim by just the pics on the page. I started reading it to my bro at night instead of mom! Funny memory.😆

The album at 20:05 is Led Zeppelin’s In Through The Out Door from either late 1979 or early 1980-i forget which. Good album and is very collectible for fans of Led Zeppelin. If you ever run across a Golden Earring album, can’t recall the title but the cover has a green tinted picture, that one is very valuable!
