I am definitely Down to Mob on that rig😊. Thanks for the great tour.

The outside of the rig is amazing, I could never justify that kind of money for a tiny “Denny’s” diner booth dinette, a wet bath and a bed🫤

The interior of our ExpeditionVehicle is three paces across by seven paces long. "But but but LM!, how do you live in such a tiny space!" . We do not live in our rig. We live out of it.

@largemarge1603 We all spend our time outside as long as the weather permits, but I have been through long stretches of inclement weather where I was so happy that my little 24' trailer had theater seating to occasionally relax in and read or watch a game until the weather cleared👍

07:07 2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle with a rear entry. This gives a permanent porch and permanent porch roof. . We use existing structures to enter the rig... ... with plenty of grab-rails... ... to maintain the Three Points Of Contact rule for climbing on equipment.

07:04 I fabricated our porch deck from expanded metal, similar to stout window-screen. It acts as a mud-room, the place to hang rain gear, and spot to remove boots, a Japanese-style 'genkan'. . In Japanese philosophy, the genkan is the transition between the sanctuary of the home and the outside world.

Yeah that looks absolutely wonderful. The time and the precision in the artwork of building a rig like that is really intense. I know this because I have done similar projects just not on this large of a scale.

06:22 We prefer the galley at the entrance. Cooking odors, heat, and humidity can easily escape. . [edited to add] Plus incoming groceries are easily placed without traipsing through the whole rig.
