    It's easy for people to mock Tottenham and go "oh it's been a long time since we were ready to crown Spurs as the 23/24 PL champion back in October" but really even if you've actually watched the matches that Tottenham have lost, they've looked the better team for the majority of those matches. Sure, they had a poor second half against Wolves and you don't win games by being the better team but to think that they're "falling off" because the results showed that they lost just shows how clueless you really are. But then again I don't expect anything too intellectual coming out from the mouth of a content creator who's a Manchester United fan tbh 🤣🤣🤣

  • @AholeAtheist

    @AholeAtheist

    I mean, as dude pointed out in the video, the ref had put the whistle to his lips, so perhaps he half blew the whistle and then thought he better blow it properly because some of the Tottenham defenders may have heard the initial half blow and stopped, which would be unfair to Tottenham at that point. Still, I see City's frustration, but I also see how the ref could have done a half blow with the way Haaland went down, he probably initially didn't expect him to get up.

Ref raised his hands for the advantage, Haaland plays the pass, Grealish gets the ball, then the ref reaches for the whistle to blow. No such thing as "half-blow" bullshit. He shouldn't have been reaching for the whistle in the first place. "Didn't expect him to get up." The whistle was reached for after the pass was played. Please go look at the highlights.

    As a City supporter, I actually thought Hooper refereed a great game other than that catastrophe at the end. Really we should've put this game to bed during that great spell of chances we had after we went up 2-1 in the first half -- controlling games and making it so there's no chance of a poor refereeing decision affecting the outcome is what the best teams do. The result of this game is frustrating as a fan of my team, but it's also kinda why I love football. You can have all the xG you want, but if you don't finish ruthlessly, the game is wide open. Conceding so many goals and maintaining intensity are the biggest challenges City has right now. 4 against Chelsea, 2 against RB Leipzig, 3 against Spurs -- definitely some work to be done there. Also has to be said the overall quality of attacking football in the Prem this season is far better than last season, and massive credit to the sides that have improved since 22/23 (Spurs and Liverpool especially are clearly leagues above their previous season's form). Tough to go 3 Prem matches without a win, but we're only 3 points off Arsenal at the moment and there's plenty of season to go. Great video as always!

The greatest signing in Madrid history and the reason why they are the club they are today. As well as the most complete player the game has ever seen. Yet not enough people mention him. The only winner of the Super Ballon d'or. And won 2 ballon d'ors and it lnly existed when he was past 30 Messi himself has only won 3 past the age of 30 he could easily won at least 4 Ballon d'or if it existed since he began playing the game.

    Well, Man City are conceding so much nowadays because they attack in a 2-4-4-1 formation. The two wide center-backs push up to join in attack and the goal keeper inverts into a center-back as well. This leaves the team extremely vulnerable to a counter attack.

    The ref desicion was horrible, but i don't think it would have changed much. Yes, City were through on goal, but Grealish is not the fastest and he was quite far from goal so the defence would have caught up with him

    Liverpool's backup keeper is just really awful. He got the chance to prove himself, but those goal conceded is just baffling.

    Its not like they had the ball go out, had there center back wrestled to the ground and player who is offside score the goal. At least its not that.

    Everyone is blowing the advantage call out of proportion. Ben Davies was catching up to Grealish. Thus the advantage ended. Grealish in that frame hadn’t even taken a touch on the ball. Don’t come at me that he would’ve scored or drawn a red card. Ben Davies hasn’t had a single red card and Grealish hadn’t scored in 27 matches. I highly doubt he would bag two. As for possibly getting a penalty Davies would’ve held him up long enough for help to arrive. It was inconsequential on the result.

    Titles aren’t won by games like spurs V city, it’s consistently beating Fulham - Bournemouth - Sheffield united etc etc etc. haaland missed an open goal. They should care more about that. What do I know, I’m just a genius. A modern day Aristotle.
