@@douglashoward9616 That is beginning to get worse. We see it most often when cops stick their feet in a person's door. They do it to create a potential assault of a law enforcement officer charge against the homeowner. The officer has acted illegally. His/her actions have escalated the situation to the point where there might be a reasonable concern for officer safety. Which, then gives the officer the opportunity to do what he/she wanted to do in the beginning.

The issue with targeting the pension and union funds is that good cops then pay for bad cops actions, that they might not have even been on the scene to see/stop. A better idea would be if cops were legally mandated to carry malpractice insurance, which is what pays out settlements instead of the taxpayers. Each time a cop got settled against, their yearly premium goes up. Imagine how a cop would behave realizing his premium this year is $12k. That guy would be motivated to either find a new job, or learn the law better. The insurance history would have to be tied to their SIN number too, so that they couldn't jump from one county to another like they do now when on the verge of getting fired, to hide their record.

A good officer could start out at say $1k a year and never pay more per year, but knows he is covered in a bad situation. A bad cop will quickly out price himself until working as a cop is not worth the cost. Letting the agencies pay those fees defeats the idea of the system. obviously that couldnt be allowed.

I like how they played the "received complaints" card using unsubstantiated claims as evidence to try and chase him off but then ignore the substantiated claims of assault on the auditor. Textbook cop stuff.

there's no good reason the cops need to get that close to you just to talk. he was trying to intimidate and push around, and probably in hopes of provoking resistance so he could actually get something to charge him with. disgusting.

It wouldn't matter if this intetaction was inside the lobby of the prison, it's public property. The guard should be brought up on assault charges. Educate yourselves. I support our LE who Educate themselves on the laws they're enforcing. 💯

This behavior is MUCH MUCH worse than assault. This is a Treasonous act. If found guilty in a court of law. That officer should be given a choice by the judge. Either 5 years in prison or publicly horse whipped by a bull whip until the guilty back splits open. Forever wearing scars of an anti-constitution citizen or trader for life.

If these videos of cops being “BAITED” could be considered news and disseminated by corporate television . I believe Law enforcement would step up the knowledge of the law game . I view the BAITERS of cops as a public service , for the safety of our rights and freedoms by exposing the woefully uneducated police . We need police in our society ! But we need only the most mentally competent and highly educated police . Not the type we see in many videos on the internet and often contacted by in public .
