Classic Country has so many surprises in store for y'all! This song crossed over into the pop chart's. It was not uncommon for big country hits to make it in the pop world.
This song helped Freddie Hart win every award he was nominated for at the 1972 Academy of Country Music Awards: Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Album, Single, and Song of the Year.
My daughter when she was about 12 got an autograph from him. He wrote "To a beautiful angel!" She was thrilled!.
Love love love Classic Country. Those lyrics were so beautiful. What woman would not want to hear her man say those words to her? So respectful of women too. We need more songs like that in the world today. Great pic, melted my heart. :)
To the family of Freddie Hart. Your beautiful loved one is not gone.He is lives on in recreation in the hearts of music lovers all over the world.
As a child I was raised around Freddie Hart, I'm 60 now he and my grandmother were very close, so close that he became the god parent to my little sister, we have many casual family photos with Freddy. He is from a bygone era of true gentleman and he was loved and respected by the country community and Beyond. Referred to as one of the nicest people that anyone could meet and routinely heard from everyone in the music industry at that time, he played with every major country star at that time and was known for his great lyrics , it's obvious his charm had some longevity, we loved him dearly!
Reminds me of my father, this was one of his favorites. Thanks
Freddie was living legend. He owned a trucking company. Everytime he had a #1 be bought a new truck. Yes this did go #1. I remember having his music on 8 track tapes. The keys in the mailbox would be another great song

Anyone trucking around Mobile Ala will remember those huge chromed out Peterbilts with the HUGE red heart painted on the side of the sleepers..... They were his "HARTLINERS"....
One of my all time favorites!!!
I can't believe you guys did this, I was just thinking of this song a couple days ago, awesome. There is nothing like classic country. I was a child in the 70s and there is nothing better. Give a listen to "Still" by Bill Anderson, another oldie but goodie 😉👍

I love this song.
That was one of my favorite songs when I was attending Technical & Vocational College in our area here in Tx in the Mid to late 70’s.
Conway and Loretta did this song too. Beautiful oldie
Ohh my, This was one of my dad's favorites. Thank you for reacting to this
You got to try David Houston - Almost Persuaded. This was a classic. I remember this song being played on country and some pop radio stations.

Freddie Hart was a great man and a dear friend. He was so humble and kind and always loved his fans. Easy Loving was a smash #1 for him in 1971 on the country charts. It also reached #17 on the pop charts in 1971. The CMA gave him the award for song of the year 2 years in a row 1971 and 1972. This was the first time that had ever happened and did not happen again until George Jones He Stopped Loving Her Today won in 1980 and 1981. Easy Loving was also the first country song that had the word "sexy" in the lyrics. Thank you for this review and helping to keep Freddie's music going.
Oh man this song will be stuck in your head for weeks
Just a beautiful song, I remember this as a little girl and thinking this is how men are to think of you , I grew up to this kind of attitude , Men treat women with love and respect

Songs like this is how love is supposed to be, from the heart, because if you love someone from the bottom of your heart, no matter what happens, you stay together

Saw Freddie Hart when l eas a teenager in the 1970's. He was so good. Love this beautiful song. He has many hits. You should check out another Country singer, Sonny James singing "Young Love". It's another beautiful song. So many Country Singers with great songs.
I do so love this song!
Freddie Hart lied about his age (15) to join the Marines in WW2 . He taught self defense at the L.A.Police academy after WW2 . Another love song of his was " I just took a trip to Heaven, and I didn't have to die"
What a beautiful song. Almost brought me to tears and to think..... When i was a teen, it bothered me cause my mom liked that song so much. It's amazing how things change as we mature.
I remember when this song was out, but I don't think I've ever seen Freddie. I've seen nudie suits, but Freddie's outfit is something else. : )
Thank you for reacting to Freddie heart I met him in California when I was kid at a record store. He was very nice love radio all country I’m 58
Boy my daddy listened to this , and so many more greats. Listen to Charlie pride "kiss an angel ".
Grew up on this music ♥️ mom and dad had a variety of music for us to listen to
My mom had this 45rpm. I listened to it alot. Another good one from that era is Jack Greene. "What In The World," my personal favorite. My "True Love" is another of his hits. Johnny Tilletson, "Why Do I Love You So." Another from around that time. Eddie Arnold, Conway Twitty, Pop and Country. Lots of great songs from those days.

Now that's what you call old old school country. He won a bunch of music awards for this song in 1971.

I just love you two, you make my heart happy! You are my favorite couple! God bless you and keep you together many many years.
Super Kind of Woman is a Great song by Freddie.
Really enjoyed your blog. As a 78 year old grand father I think it is really great how you two respect the music of my generation. Your reaction to my all time favorite song "I don't have anything" by the Skyliners was a real treat. By the way the high pitch vocals were done by the girl in the group. If you get a chance another great song from the era is "My Teenage Sonata" by Sam Cooke. Check it out, I bet you wife will love it.
Dam y'all,. I got giant chill bumps. 😜😜😜😜😜
When he hooks the "Lovin" part of that song, it hooks you
Use to play this on my granny's jukebox in the 60s n 70s.
My father’s fav!

In early 71 if you turned on the radio you heard this song.
One of the best guys i ever met.
When Freddie recorded the song the record company wanted him to change sexy looking to pretty looking...he refused to change the lyrics...
My brother, you lookin' good man, but nothing beats you rockin' the O's or bird cap!
Released 1971 went to #1
Stuff like this is what I grew up with in the 70's & early early 80's. What my mom & dad listened to.
This was one of my Moms favorites. Just started following y’all. Keep up the great work
I listened to this as a child...my mother loved it!! Precious memories
Look up Feddie Hart wins and you can see him win like Entertainer of the year, album of the year, sing of the year etc. Not only was he a great singer he was a great person and uncle. I loved him so much. He passed a very years ago but he will always carry a special place here on earth to several people.
FFreddie was one of 14 kids, and was raised on a farm in Missippi. He wrote this smash hit song that crossed over into pop before it was all done. Freddie learned and taught marshal arts while he was in the Army, and for a while afterwards. I think the marriage of music arrangement to singer as was masterfully done in this song, is the best I have ever heard. Other artists recorded this song, two of whom were Conway Twitty and Loretta Lyn, George Jones and Tammy Wynette.
I love the reactions of you guys.
Great reaction guys
Another good one of Freddy's is "Hang In There, Girl".
Oh my, a beautiful song and our Shawn and Me-eee-el at their best! Love from Texas! ❤

Give a try to Billy Joe Shaver. He wrote a lot of songs for Waylon Jennings. Try "Ragged Old Truck" or "Old Five and Dimers Like Me." Get a taste of the Texas songwriters scene. And there are tons of others to try.
Have you guys ever listened to Stevie Ray Vaughn "Life Without You" Live? It's a really great song.
Please watch Trip to heaven by Freddie Heart. great song
You should listen to his song “Lover’s Leap”
Please react to Jessie Colter and Waylon Jennings. Husband and wife sing Storms Never Last.
Classic country. Elvis Presley was one of many who covered this original.
Need to find his song "First Time". Risque big time.
Americans who don't know good singers, how is this possible? I'm Brazilian and I've been listening to it for a good few years!
