This made me Win a Newegg Challenge

I WON AGAIN | ABS Master Gaming PC | NEWEGG Review |
So what had happened was, I committed the cardinal sin and just bought a prebuilt PC, and NewEgg was doing a contest to promote their video reviews, and if you posted a video review, you could be 1 of 30 winners to win a $100 dollar NewEgg gift card. Well, after I got over the prebuilt part, and saw how awesome the PC really was, I decided to get my equipment out, and do my video thing. I found out about 2 weeks later that I won, lol, and yes, NewEgg did deliver and I received a $100 dollar gift card from them. However, in the terms of this being probably only my second video review ever, I learned a lot and wanted to share some pitfalls that I experienced during the process. Hope it helps.
3 Tips for Reviews:
1. MAKE IT RELEVANT - Oh man, so the review had to be under 2 minutes and under 100MB in size to upload, and my first draft was about 8 minutes and over 1GB. Needless to say I had about 6 revisions to keep it relevant, and the other 6 minutes was wrapped up in some peroneal story that dated back 10 years of my life outlining m whole experience of NewEgg, rather than actually reviewing and talking about the product.
2. MAKE IT SHORT - So unless you are Gerald Undone, you probably should keep the review short as it keeps the audience attention, and people (most people) really just want to know the quick facts around the product, and your experience of the product.
3. MAKE IT INTERESTING - Back to my comment about Gerald, his reviews are amazingly thorough, and focus's on a specific audience looking for that level of detail on a product; that is how I believe he makes his reviews (product analysis) interesting. For me, I more prefer to focus on some type of story, so even though I did a review, I satisficed the Film Maker in me and tried to tell a story; that made it interesting for me, and hopefully it made it interesting for the viewer, which based on NewEgg's response back to me "YOU WON" I think it did the job.. lol.
