My PS5 Made Me Buy this TV
The SWISS ARMY KNIFE of 70" TV's | Vizio V705-J03 Product Review | Tested on a PlayStation 5 |
I done did another review, and this one was just for fun, and I think if you on a budget but want a nice TV, you need to watch this, and probably go get this TV, and a PlayStation 5 (not sponsored by either btw) #vizio #playstation5
3 Tips for shooting a Monolog:
1. LIGHT THE LIGHTING - If you are going to sit there, and expect someone to look at your face for any period of time, make sure your lighting is good so they can see you, also make sure you wash your face so the greasiness don't reflect all the good lighting back to your audience. I used a key light, multiple backlights, a fill light, natural light, and a few practical's. I also adjusted my lighting a few times on the camera. Had some issues with noise, but removed a lot of it with DaVinci Resolves noise removal process.
2. TAKE MULTIPLE TAKES - Shoot yourself giving the monolog multiple times. You will get multiple versions, and give yourself some editing room to mix the good parts of your multiple versions together. Also, you can watch the first few shots and see if it makes sense and flows, and then hone in on the parts you are trying to get across to your audience. I actually shot this video 4 times, and the first take I did a short shoot to test my lighting, the second take I forgot to check my MIC settings and the whole review was muted. The third time it was just long, and my face was greasy, and the forth take ended up being the magic number. I kinda wish I had done it a fifth time, because I don't think I was clear on the TV story, but I committed and moved on.
3. SOUND THE SOUND EFFECTS - So, the reality is that this video was really boring when I first watched the RAW footage... lol 😁 I know that more people enjoyed me making fun of myself on the text and with the goofy sound effects, than they actually did with the content of the video. The topic was of interest to me, and something I was excited about, but not something that is getting a whole lot of lookups on KZread... so what do you do??? Make it fun for your audience and add some Sound Effects to bring your video to life! Even a product review can benefit from fun engaging sound.

Cool man, OLEDs are still the king of displays in my opinion; can't get better blacks than that.

Thank you! And thank you for watching!
Every spec is pretty descent exept the refresh rate is only 60, so if you can compromise with all of the positives.... the framerate will dip frequently because it won't be steady. I have an older Vizio and even it allows me to max out at 120. So, with Freesync I also max my games at 144 or higher, than the only thing that slows me down is the game itself. Thanks for the video though, I have been looking for an OLED TV, if I can find a Vizio OLED, I am in.

Yeah, I might have to wait for this one to die before I go OLED. And I got a PSVR2 which has OLED screens, and although not as crisp as an OLED TV, it's still pretty good to experience the deep colors OLED brings. Thanks for commenting, I did not realize this video was getting so much views 😊 I hope you get that OLED Vizio!.
I actually have 2 Vizio Smart TVs I have a Vizio Smart M Series 4K 55inch 2015. Vizio P Series 4K Quantum 65inch 2018. And yeah I do agree with you I don't really care for Vizio smartcast platform. I have 2 Chromecast with Google TV devices connected to both of my TVs. I'm happy for you and definitely a great video.

@@solomonericfilms Yes I but I also actually try to change picture quality and get similar the picture quality that my Vizio 2015 had cuz I been using for 4 years I got it so used to it looking like at that quality. And I got my Vizio 2018 for Cyber Monday 2018. And my 2015 TV don't have HDR. It still works to this day I have it in my bedroom and the 65inch is in my living room.
Glad that worked out for you. You definitely got a great price.

Hey Johnathan, sorry on the late reply man. I have not been able to make a video, but here are my custom settings for Dolby Vision, Theater (Movies), and Video Games. @@luny_mrg8868 I know dude, I blame work and the kids 😄, and this video is a bit old, so I was not sure if it would still be valid. But I just got into my new place and trying to build up a proper studio, so hoping to do some more content like this. Thank you for watching
Currently I have an LG C1 and all those high end features do when turned on for me is unbelievably judder any movement. Ive always played games favoring performance and they looked fine. Hogwarts however made me get back on search. I seriously think my set is defective as game mode and all the gaming features kill everything good. I revert back to taking them off and using smooth movement to better the picture. Im probably gonna break the bank on a Sony this time around.

That sucks on the judder. I have seen that with the TV's with motion interpolation turned on. I am not a fan, as it's supposed to smooth the picture, but my eyes cant get used to it. So I usually have any frame or motion enhancement turned off as well. This Vizio TV has a type of anti-aliasing feature built in that I have tried for my OG XBox, but I can't see any difference, but as not mess the performance, I turned that off too. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@solomoneric8310 I ended up buying a Samsung S95B. It arrives tomorrow. Was gonna go S95C but it's basically the same TV at double the price. Hopefully it works out good.
If you wanted something for a budget you should’ve gone with the Vizio MQX it’s the cheapest 120hz tv out there the one you got only runs 60hz
@solomonericfilms

Huh, you are absolutely correct. I just did a search on Best Buys website and there is a 65" Vizio MQX on sale right now (open-box) for $408 bucks at a store near me. That's a great deal for a 120Hz monitor. Thank you for sharing that! I may have to look into that more when the wife goes shopping again... lol 😁

Gotta get at least 120hz if not VRR or whatever its called on the ps5
@jonathansoko1085
Жыл бұрын
Very few ps5 games can actually utilize 120hz tho dude. Theres no reason really to harp on 120hz if youre a console gamer. PC? Yes. Theres maybe 1 or 2 ps5 games that can ACTUALLY utilize it. Facts are, the ps5 is a 30 fps 4k gaming console. Thats just the reality, the ps5 can not do high resolution 60 fps reallly and its NEVER doing 120 fps 4k gaming.
@solomonericfilms

I will get there, but even if I have a 120Hz TV, I prefer the visual fidelity rather than the high-rate motion of 120Hz. I always max out all my video quality, then work down as I need better frame rates

LOLOL 😂 No kidding, that would have broken the bank even more 💲💲💲 So I did end up getting the PSVR2 though, and it has OLED screens for the lens, and Spiderman does look really good in it, but it's not the same as on a flat panel. The OLED in the PSVR2 is not as Crisp on Theater mode as it is in 3D VR Mode. Thank you for your support!

Best budget a purchased is xaomi 4k.4s global hdr is no good better rez when off luminance setting deactivated extra contrast all post processing features deactivated has improved rez greatly while avoiding gamemode & input lag gamemode degrades the resolution & detail what was avoided deactivated Bluetooth only use usb to lower any controller input lag works great until purchase a hisense mabe s budget monitor because tv input lag ms rangers from 12.5ms to 20ms dont think a tv has lower ms
