Hey RCE I had a similar issue with resources having trails in my Hydroneer and it turns out its DLSS. It's not synching with the framerate so small things are having refresh issues. Try turning it off and then using ultra settings on everything else. It will really improve your framerate in general I think.

When the bridge mod comes out, get another mod to change the size and make a bridge out of bridges

Hey RCE, just wanted you to know that your framerate loss isn't from the "amount" of resources in your bridges. It's about 90% because of the shard bars in the one bridge. Hydroneers lighting/shadows/reflections optimization isn't all that great, and EACH ONE of those bars is a light producer, that constantly changes values. In turn creating shadows, and reflecting off of the other bars as well. If you want to fix this fps problem, I recommend the removal of just the shard bars in particular. We don't need a mod for your bridges, we need a lighting quality slider. Hope you're doin well.

Or a cutoff point for when items are used, so the frame rate only dies when you are close enough to actually see it.

@@dylanzrim3635 For this mod he speaks of would only remove the "I'm an item" aspect, and still present the problem of lighting, unless they changed the lighting specifically on mod creation, which in turn still represents the issue I was talking about.

Wait, what? Matt's "form over function" bridges are causing him to get terrible frame rates and he wants someone else to fix the issue? That sounds an awful lot like something an architect would do.

I love that your only goal in these games is not to do what the game intends you to do but to make bridges 🤣

I mean just foolin about in games for content doesnt seem mentally taxing. But if he can handle daily uploads then he can handle it.

Trypophobia, at least for me, doesn’t occur if there is a pattern involved. They also aren’t really holes so it might contribute to that as well. Really weird stuff

Hey Matt... Why don't you plug the ends of the pipes? It will increase water pressure and will make pipes working better.

i don't know if you learned this already, but the shop has bug with tokens, then you have to reload the save, then it'll work the way its supposed to

It's not lag, the game just knows that we should appreciate your bridges more!

With tomatoes you pinch out leaves and restrict the plant to one single vine. There is a small set of leaves which grow above just branches. Pull these leaves out. This allows the plant to focus its production growing you more and bigger tomatoes. The flowering and fruiting will continue up the vine as you harvest removing all fruits and leaves from the bottom up.

Tomatoes grow best at 1600hz. Sony was scientific about putting headphones on tomatoes in their advertising. Give your tomatoes some headphones and a good playlist.

Seed drill. Is a real farming attachment for tractors. They have some counter-rotating wheels at the back to cover the pits for the seeds back up You could make a row of each type of crop, since now you have the harvester

The lack of reliable automation is what kills this game for me. I bought it waaay back in early access when vehicles were totally broken still and to be fair, they have made a lot of improvements. However they haven't seem to have done anything for reliable automation and their physics are not reliable so its frustrating. Thanks for doing the hard work for us.

The problem is making every resource a physical item. There is no good reason to be carrying around money like that. Have a purse or something. Seeds also could be optimized by having a seed pouch item that you can buy and have as a seed inventory you can plant from. You could “pour” the seeds into a seed receptacle in the farm equipment if needed. Even if it’s a sack per plant type it would still streamline things. Then all the game needs is a number in memory rather than a bunch of polygons and psychics calculations.

I had the same problem with her not letting me buy the seeds and stuff. I had to save the game with the items on the sell pad and then when I reloaded I could buy the items.

Sprinklers go through conveyors and do not affect the things on the conveyor belts. Plants & crops also need light to actually grow

I'd say you want to have a switch to change the direction of the carrots so some can be made into food and then you only get a small amount in your boot. If you've ever seen a carrot seed they are tiny and you generally get bloody loads of them in a packet like 500 or something so maybe you should be able to get more in your boot of more in a packet in future.

Yes but those packets were already stacked to their max as seen buy how many seed icons each had on the side.

Nice to know that not only lets game it out breaks this game with resources.

The bridges are proof enough that your computer is a good computer! I play alot of this game.. when my frame rate drops I know that there is a build up of rss on my mining set up. As soon as my computer starts slowing down I flip a valve, grab my magnet and a few painful minutes later I can have it all running smooth again! I highly doubt my computer will be able to plant a field big enough to use that hydrocroper

Would love to see more progress in each of your vids, seems like just as you start getting somewhere you end the vid. Then next time there's a 3 min intro + 2 min recap + 2 min looking at the old bridges leaving only 10-11 minutes of gameplay

Another commenter mentioned it could be "dlss" messing with the refresh rate. It makes sense so try playing with that setting.

I thought RCE's planting plot was gonna be in the strongest shape. What happened man? 😯 also, the phobia you were mentioning is trypophobia. I have it, but it's not always triggered, this was fine for me 😋 but show me small holes on e.g. a heel or a tongue (sometimes a honeycomb) and I'm freaking out 😨
