That 911 has everything. German frame, American LS3 engine, Japanese RWB kit, and a British Lotus F1 paintjob LOL wow!

The air-cooled engine is legendary. The LS is dime a dozen.
I love Porsches and usually dislike RWB builds, but this thing is wild. It sounds ridiculous and I love the open numeric shifter too.

Sounds ridiculous in person. Shifter feels good, just requires some patience and smooth shifting!
That "Californication" intro👏🏾, and the fact he drove a Porsche too in the show
Hard to believe there is an LS in the back, and still has a back seat. Crazy. Cool. 👍👍

Love the intro,all that clever talk then uses a LS,HILARIOUS
It's always a good day seeing this car on the road on my way home from work.
What a stunning build. And a ballsey move to swap out for an LS... and a great video lead in with a very accurate synopsis of the world we appear to live in today ... I am sure Will gets a lot of please out of his fantastically conceptualised (King's English here sorry 🤣🤣) "daily" ... almost worth a trip to Vancouver (from NZ) for just a small chance of seeing this on the road 😎😎
I think an ls swapped porsche is the most reliable porsche on the road.

im 100% into it, ive wanted and RWB and ill get one evenutally! Which makes me INSAINLY happy to see it daily driven! my LSx powered 944 is probably the closest thing to a RWB 911 LSx i could have at this time and I LOVE EVERY SECOND!
@alorrick7546

fun note LSx engines do not have an issue with oiling, not one problem at all. ITS HAS to do with the geomatry of the oil pan for 911 swaps and the way the car moves and leans makes the oil go the opposite of what anything "conventional" would use. so an accusump stops the oil starvation because of "unable oil pan design" and sadly packaging. because in the 944 we hold more G's than a 911 and hotter lap times with a standard sump engines, corvettes too and sadly it really boils down to pan design and baffling which the 911 conversion pans jsut simply have not.
What a fuckin car. The JPS livery accentuates the lines of the kit beautifully and menacingly. I can only imagine how much presence this car has in the metal.
LOL, ICBC actually allows you to drive that incredible beast on the road!!!!! That Porsche is a thing of beauty 👍👍👍😎 Reminds me of the days of watching the Trans Am series at Westwood track in Coquitlam 👍 sweet ride guys 👍
Your cooling fans are too small. Mishimoto "Raceline" fans. 2 if them move 3600 cfm (cubic feet per minute) I upgraded from those slim fans and solved my overheating problem. I live in Florida and drive hard with ac on. You can feel the suction from the fans a foot in front of the grilles.

LS in wonderland
The LS is a better engine anyway. Lighter and more reliable if naturally aspirated. Can make away more power also. Remember, the original engine for this car is not a Mezger, it's not a Turbo or GT car.

Ls doesn’t have “oiling issues” unless you front sump them, in this case it’s because of the engine orientation

Very different due to the engine location , and a lot more grip from the wide body for the 911. I am the owner of both cars❤
That thing is fucking beautiful..
I think every single 996 tiptronic base 911 should be used as a hot rod platform for LS based V8s / GM V8s . I drove a base 996 911 auto when they were new and it was the most dissapointing car I ever drove . So underpowered feeling and boring . But they are still 911s with some potential . The 996 TURBO was awesome . Yes , it had the cheap feeling ugly interior that lost its way but at the time it was a monster street car for turn key usable acceleration with the level of traction. Considering how hated the base 996 is and the headlights treated like some kind of birth defect that somehow destroys its look for the classic shape and how awfully underpowered they were and the tiptronic Making it feel like a 6 cyl camary when accelerating . The whole throw out bearing thing and general cost of fixing cars that suck and the ability to fit a more classic front clip with round headlights instead of the fried eggs that people are so disgusted by which Is the tiniest of problems with them as cars but unloved they seem the perfect platform to hack up and be re purposed and given some dignity by giving them some performance with a great V8 .

I agree with the automatic 996 comments. Let's V8 swap them all.
Needs more cross sectional area on the intake side of the radiator, it’s suffocating for air

Also, more air passing thru the engine bay with allow the stored heat to be extracted and provide less of a load on the existing cooling system

RWB is a little too far for me but that car looks amazing. It's also small like my 74 Celica which is cool. Could have easily got into this instead if I had a slightly different path in life.

The engine itself is probably similar in weight, if not a little lighter than the original. But of course the wheels and additional body work don't help the cause

I'm not sure if you need nuclear level audacity or ego to start drilling into a Porsche, but the results are something else.
@PapaTroll86

Or just a love for a car that you want to make even better? I say why not. At the end of the day it's *your* car and there's no reason to appease to anyone else who prefers just another 911 with less power and significantly less grip. It has nothing to do with ego and everything to do with personal passion. And I can tell you that this car gets me *far* more intrigued than another stock 911, especially as there was no skimping out on the build. If it were just another stock classic 911 being driven around, I probably wouldn't have clicked on the video. Seen it many, many times before. And that's coming from a fan of 911's.

wtf these guys talking about? Dry sump isn’t good for the street? When you’re trying to make a big hp big grip track car that you also wanna drive on the street it is lol! Also…no Fe block LS “truck” motors aren’t better for boost - fe block Chevy crate motors? Yeah sure. You can throw PLENTY of SC boost @ an LS3 & decent turbo, if you wanna go 2k whp? Ok get a Nelson racing engine, a Fe big block crate motor OR one of those sick 1 piece CNC machined 6061 aluminum block remakes. Not very impressive to me. I love 911s. I'd rather use a 5.2L Voodoo engine. High reving engine with a power band similar to a racing 911. Flat-plane crankshaft sound! Like a Porsche engine with 2 more cylinders and cheaper horsepower.
