Me too. This d8 is a lumix LX100ii with a red button. And expensive.

Maybe there's no 'Leica Look' on film options as it is a Leica so they have tuned the B&W to their look?

The black lens cap with a silver ring looked absolutely fantastic. Did it come with the test camera ? On the UK Leica website, there is only the all black version.

Totally relate to everything you expressed about a Leica. I have been using Leica V LUX 25-400 for several years and it's like a heirloom!! Solid and of course both the images and the Logo can definitely get you eyeballs. Feels like an investment. 😇🫶

It does not have a mic input, sadly. Decent enough built in mics but the background noise reduction is rather poor.

Lumix g7is more economical.and.good.🎉

The closest Leica i had is on my Huawei. Leica got its own feels.

For 1.5 lakhs, priced around same as Fuji X100V, just 30K less than Fuji 100VI, and 50K more than Ricoh GRIII, it has to be most overpriced Leica ever. Before under 1 lakh, it made sense as a beginner's entry to Leica system with a Point and Shoot. But now, it is of no use.

Leica probably delayed launch of the camera to optimise the software more to their nature.. for now the photos seems to lack the leica look.. Leica fan here ✋ hopefully will own a real Leica one day..

Beautifully review and your voice is very expressive but i was disappointed to see the images shoot by this camera especially B&W images. Leica known for great image qualities in B&W photos.

I whish that Leica would have add an APSC rather then a 4/3

No, Panasonic is not going to produce their version. This is design by Leica, well with some DNA from LX100 but then you be the judge.

Great video but Fuji is the best! Fuji colours are wow, especially those oranges.

could have taken better pictures with a Leica though. none on them looks photographic

I'm surprised to see a professional taking such poor quality photos with a Leica. Not good at all.

Taking random clicks on a 1.5 lac worth camera to pretend to be a professional!!That is some serious confidence.

Sorry to say that photos look like taken by smartphone.

Just get the lumix insted. Wouldn’t ever buy a leica if it’s a d-lux.

There is nothing "leica" about this camera or the image quality.

Just another Chinese digital camera, name Leica is meaningless. Shame on them.
