Filter in homes produces most of the wast water, they are not healthy to plants also Any alternative use of the waste water from home filters? They produce waste water double the good water

She should donate and train people to make shaya but I think she should sell it too. It can get her some profit so she can help more homeless people. Not everyone has time to make shaya.

I feel so proud seeing this video..this system is already prevailing at my home since childhood..I have seen my grandmother , mother using leftover clothes to make small asans, pillow fillings and designer covers..even my granny used to embroidery with the fibres of the old torn out sarees..nothing got wasted.I myself being a ecofreak try to use leftover clothes in many things..I have done painting with fabric scraps as well along with bangles and cushions...I hope someday I can also be able to help society in bigger form

Ya In our childhood we never carried plast bags.Shopping bags were stiched from old trousers or sarees.Really miss those days.Today however unfortunately people feel pride in carrying plastic covers. Every time I go to the market I see people haggling with the vendors for plastic covers.

Kitni ajeeb baat h India is known for exporting clothes and people in India are still sleeping without a simple mattress. She has the great idea, a heart full of kindness. May God bless her. When I read these kind of things in sunday magazines I try to note it in my book/mind. 1.Plantcil -produce Eco friendly products like seeded pencils,paper pens etc 2.Pappco- replace the single use plastic with sugarcane waste

Just subbed to your channel to hear more wonderful news. Here in Australia during the 1940 and beyond, old clothes and blankets and sheets were returned to the factory where blankets were made and the material was shredded and turned back into new blankets. This was when fabrics were not synthetic. That has not happened for about 30 years now. So glad you are helping your own people.

I love what you're doing at Shayya, but keep in mind that when plastic is washed the microplastics enter the water stream and cause major damage to our water supplies and oceans. Maybe someone can create a way to filter out the microplastics from the waste water. I am totally in support of the reuse concept and absolutely LOVE your initiative and the creativity of what you are doing.

It's everywhere man. Almost everything packaged in plastics. The best we can do is just reuse all plastic we have, and keep it away from sunlight.

As a textile artisan, this warms my heart. We have a large homeless community here in New Orleans, and the idea of a good, clean bedroll is always right on target.

Our old generation used to make pillows, blankets and mattresses from these waste. Truly Indian culture is the richest.

This is such a great work.I too impart the skills I have with local people so that they can earn livelihood while solving the excess fabric issues. If all the people (specially those connected with your channel) start understanding how daily routine work damages our environment and improve it one bit then I am sure it won't take us long time to UNDO the damage.
