As if one video wasn't enough, now I have to delay the film even further in order to read all the comments 😅 Thanks again for the entire team for covering this and for such a positive attitude! This project is made purely out of love and my desire to give something back to the SW community that inspired my whole career. Now a couple of words from me on the edit itself: - Reva is here! I gave her a stronger motivation and polished her character arc. She's just not in the trailers all that much since I concentrated on the visual aspects of the shots, while I'm keeping the plot until the release. -The same thing goes for Leia. Both are integral parts of the core story and I didn't even think about removing them. I only heavily enhanced what was there and what works. -The Grand Inquisitor is redone to look more like a Pau'an species from ROTS, of which he is. Also he will be voiced by amazing voice actor Nick Cortez, to be vocally in line with the Rebels version. - Oh and the holograms, so glad that you appreciate my dedication to them! Red blinking dots are the systems with Probe droids in them (wireframe of which you can see on the left of Obi-Wan's hologram). There's a couple of closeups of that in the film, it's kinda important to catch that 😉 May the Force be with you all! Pixel ❤

I seriously can’t wait for your final version! I’ve seen Kenobi and it was brilliant but your vision will truly be what we as a fanbase would “want” to see come to life! Honestly just the visual adjustment alone to make it more in-line with canon makes me giddy! But moreover, the series as a whole felt a bit bloated so I’m personally looking forward to a movie version to show to my family who is close to wrapping up the Prequel Trilogy with me for the first time (after we watched the OT of course).

In fact, the rare times a fan film has gotten a C&D that I know of, it wasn't because of Disney, it was because it used the Star Wars themes owned by Warner Brothers. Fun Fact! WB owns the rights to most Star Wars music for the original films! Don't use it in your project!

Making Kenobi outright crazy is perfect, in a way: Vader hallucinates about Padme frequently as well in the comics, and we know that Masters and Padiwans often share a connection that the Jedi Order really doesn't want to acknowledge, so Kenobi hallucinating about the past himself as a result makes a lot of sense. In fact, it even kind of fills in one of the plot holes, because Kenobi would demonstrably know that Anakin is in their _somewhere,_ at a fundamental level, even if he himself doesn't see how Vader can be redeemed. Basically, leaving Vader alive is the kind of thing Kenobi would think is because he's just spooked by the visions he's been having, but the audience can understand that as the Force pushing him, because the Force still needs Vader alive to stop Palpatine. Regardless, Kenboi accepting that outcome keeps him open to the Force, setting the stage for Rebels and A New Hope.

I saw an edit that portrays reevas treason a lil bit more stealthy, distracting vader from focusing on kenobi’s ship in order to stop reevas saber. I think it fits better, but conflict a little bit with vader so casually fighting reeva. He’d be so pissed and angry that the edit should show the same action between them but at 2x speed, as vader quickly reacts, partially disarms and wounds her

I know I'm in the minority here, but despite it being an absolutely incredibly well done edit, I think the flash to Anakin defeats the whole emotional point. Obviously Obi-Wan knows who Vader is and that's haunting him, but to cope he sort of has a disconnect and just begins to see him as "Ex-Anakin and now is a big black robot that needs to be stopped". It's not until he actually sees Anakin in the suit with his own two eyes that he's reminded that it is still literally Anakin Skywalker in the flesh and he has that emotional breakdown. Up until then he's been able to mostly compose himself. It really is a case of less is more. If he's constantly seeing that it's Anakin in the suit, where's the massive emotional crescendo when he slices the helmet and physically sees the person he already knew was in there. If you're already going big, you can only go so much bigger and still have an impact.
