I wouldnt worry about painting it, just get some VGG Patina clear coat and protect it. You dont even have to spray it, you can rub it on with paper towels. I think it would look good with a flat/satin clear.

I spent about a year living with my grandparents when I was 14. At that time you could get a learners permit at 15, so that at 16 you could get a full drivers license. I helped my grandfather grow his garden, 7 acres, and plant 75 fruit trees. My grandfather had a '69 Dodge Adventurer truck. He gave me the truck for working in the garden all summer. During the summer I would work on the truck after everything else was done. It was so neat to drive my own truck when I got my license. It so happens that I learned to drive in the same truck when I was 10 & 11 when my grandparents lived in Louisiana. Watching you all do this work with the Kid reminds me of those times. She has precious memories for the rest of time. Abd you two are the greatest for giving them to her for her.

Seeing Paul all smiley about his new 42s and tires on the Yota was awesome!!! Also it was nice seeing the little fella out with dad, losing cash to his old bro! (He'll learn, in due time ha!). Finally wanted to add that seeing Jace wheeling looking a little less than confident reminded me completely of Clark Kent because I've now associated Jace with all his basketball highlights and his display of grace and athleticisms, with all those dunks! Seeing him laidback, reserve and just rock crawling made me consider if I didn't know of him and saw him out on the trails, I wouldn't have ever imagined he played basketball or be good at it, Haha, so the saying, never judge a book by its cover, certainly seems like a legit, valuable lesson to teach the little ones, as some of us adults occasionally need reminding of that!

I was a Tech and Safety Inspector for 50 years. Raced my own buggy and won a championship. Been involved in race teams since I was 4 years old. Been playing offroad since 1965 when I got my 1st ride offroad in a VW buggy, a Burro with the guy who was the Chief of Tech for the original NORRA for the Mexican 1000. He crawled me up the face of a rocky hill above Willow Springs Raceway that I've never seen scaled by any other vehicle before or since. Been 4 wheelin in all sorts of vehicles from Jeeps to pickups with big blocks to you name it since the early 70s. In all that time I've seen vastly more serious injuries and deaths among the play crowd than among the racers. Spent some time driving a tow truck for a living. Saw a huge difference in results with belts vs no belts. I no longer have any sympathy for those who perish to Terminal Stupidity. I've seen people die in 4x4s when the guy with the camera had just walked past them they were going so slow. Low speed is no guarantee of safety., even though you feel safer than at speed. Going to Glamis? That's a dangerous place. I've heard a thousand times how the sand is soft, you can't get hurt on it. But of all the places I've been involved in motorsports Glamis is the most dangerous.

Yes Paul, please paint it! Doesn't have to be fancy, we know it's gonna take a beating. Rattle-can would do. And your stickers would stand out better. Just one old man's opinion😉

I’ve been with this channel since the beginning. Just like my two I’m watching your boys grow up in what seems a blink of the eye.
