Neat EDF jet enjoyed eeing and hearing about it. This has become my preferred YT channel for the following reasons: 1) host seems like a regular guy, knowledgeable without the know-it-all vibe. 2) Decent pilot but isn't some kind of slave to perfection who makes excuses for his errors or needs to be hyper-critical of other hobbyists. Openly shares his fails in a matter of fact, straightforward manner. 3) Gives, clear, competent opinions, tips and reviews without being pedantic. 4) Doesn't continuously ask for "likes", subscribers, bla, bla, bla or whine about all his selfless efforts and sacrifices for the hobby. Doesn't brag about how awesome he is like some. Keep doing a great job and thanks.

Ahhhh! As I am just starting to take the long form more serious and with plans to create a lot more .. this comment is what I needed to see. Thank you !!!! Landing gear is the biggest weakness when landing on grass. Easily bends. Even the tiniest of curve will restrict the telescope movement as it'll rub inside.

Really nice review! my first time seeing your channel. when I first heard you I thought you were Australian but then it sounded more NY accent 😂😂 I have owned the Arrows F15 since it first came out a few years ago, its one of my favorites . love flying it with the ordinance but it is a little bit sluggish especially in windy conditions. When you took the mic off on the second flight that did capture the true sound of the motors which everyone always comments how cool it sounds. absolutely the best landing gear I have seen. I always fly mine with gyro, so it was even more impressive that you were flying without gyro in windy conditions and it was pretty rock solid! and while it is capable of grass takeoff and landings, i wouldnt call what you were using "grass", more like cow pasture🤪🤣🤣 that would be considered plane abuse, but if you get your planes for free then tearing them up on a crappy field won't bother you😝😀 keep up the good flying

That your G70 in the background? Thinking of buying one as well. I have been inspired by your channel and recently purchased the FMS 1300mm PA-18 Super Cub. I am new to the hobby but looking forward to some fun crashes lol... Do you have a recommended battery for the plane? On their website they recommend 11.1V 2200mAh 25C

The Arrows little 50mm jets are the greatest thing I have in my fleet. I bring it to the field with me every time I fly. They're spec'd for 3S but you can fly them on a 1500mah 4S no problem and they get going screaming fast. They'll run anywhere in the 65-80mph range. A group of guys at the field and I fly them all at the same time and it's always a ton of fun.

Are they all made out of foam or are they made out of some formal plastic and if you do crash them can you get a body and put the rest of the stuff back in it? I’m trying to get into the Hobbie.

I believe you would just assign channel 5 to a switch and it should work!

It did just fine, I had some tough landings too and the landing gear is holding up perfect. The grass I am flying off is short but super uneven with a ton of holes.

I have the Mig 29 and I find it weird that this plane's verticals and elevators glue on. On the Mig 29 it's all screw together and it has full flying stabs. It's one of the reasons why I chose the Mig over this F-15.

I always recommend people finding a preowned 8 channel on eBay or rcgroups.com classified section! I like spektrum but there’s a few options. This is 6 channel. So you will need a 6 channel receiver. And 6 cell battery anything from 3300-5000mah works fine in this plane ✈️

I fly FPV quads and I can't wrap my head around inverting your controls when your flying towards yourself at los xD

Yes they are nice , I have the mig-29 also , I have a habit of taking the two when I decide to fly one I always take the two out and have me a "small jet day" with the little packs . I got to get a few of the SMC packs I hear good things about them . Probably getting 4 packs of the what 4600 .

They are EPO not styrofoam. They are hard like plastic. If you want balsa or composite you will most likely have to build it and spend some $

Spektrum? Channel assign in the remote. Go to channel 5 and assign it to whatever switch you want!

It flys really good, But it doesn't have a gyro. So I would opt for something a little simpler for a first Airplane!

What was going on with the left main landing gear? It looked like evey time you landed it, it got kinda twisted and goofy looking. You must have straitened it out after landing but never said anything about it.

I can't keep all these planes.. passed this to my friend Steve. He's ordering a new nose cone. I have to keep getting new planes to keep the channel interesting! My house isn't big enough lol Rather see people fly these regularly than them sit in the attic.

Nice jet except for the intakes. Being in the drooped position doesn't look right to me.

Yeah, So I flew in this video with the SMC 3600 and SMC 4400. But In my shorts I also tried the Spectrum 4000 & 5000 as well as that SMC 5900. All worked perfect only needing slight trim adjustment.
