    As a Ghanaian in the UK some of my beloved friends are Jamaicans. They are so generous, cook for you and share freely. Same goes for us Africans and therefore I always educate my fellow Africans to remember that in the whole Western Hemisphere, nobody loves Africa more than Jamaica! One Love to Jamaica, Mama Africa loves you too.

    Some black Americans will say their ancestors are from Missisipi or Georgia or some like that and not from Africa, that's why some of them hate being called Afro Americans they like the political term coined by white ppl of BLACK, a term that is condescending. No person is black and no person is white,these are political terms to differentiate and divide and socialize small children to behave in a certain way to keep the status quo of white privilege

    When i used to live in south east London i had a mother from Kingston Jamaica, she took me as a real son, even though I'm from Ghana she will cook for me every weekend without fail such as chicken, goat soup, rice and dumpling she made me feel at home calling me son, she even extended the same gesture to my younger brother when he first arrived in the UK, the best experience is from the Jamaicans ---- Thank You Many Many Times Auntie Anita, May Her Soul Rest In Perfect Peace.

    @@wwn1405 Regarding being helpful, most Jamaicans are. When they help you in the US they always look for something in return, whether its tip, or just use the idea of giving to make money. In Jamaica outside the tourism area, there is no tip culture, just helpful people.

    My grandmother was born in Jamaica (1870-1975)in St.Mary parish...she moved married my grandfather a citizen of Honduras where she spent the rest of her life..I always remember her kindness and generosity towards her neighbors and strangers..and her stories of Jamaica the land that she never forgot...I took a trip to her beloved island in the sun in 1988 just to bring her spirit home...may she forever rest in peace with the ancestors...

    That’s a great reminder of how connected we all are. My great grandfather is of that generation he went to Panama 🇵🇦 to build the canal and returned to Jamaica blind from the hardship he faced there. I think we have family there still.

    Big up Dexter. True story: I was in Jamaica earlier this year and one lady security guard was explaining to me where a shop was that I needed. She knew I didn't look to sure and literally walked me from the bank to the store to assist me in what I was looking for. I was really blown away! I just said please put this towards your lunch, thank you so much. She actually refused, but i insisted.

    Love is all we need. If every black man felt like this Jamaican brother there would be no gang killings in the Western Hemisphere among black brothers and there would be no unnecessary wars in Africa where we kill our own kind.     Thank you very much for this video and highlighting the fact that not all Jamaicans fit the negative stereotype and that not all Jamaicans are bad ppl. Jamaica has some of the most kind hearted ppl but those ppl are never highlighted because it is only ever the negative aspects of being a Jamaican that are perceived by others to be normal for everybody.

    Out of many one people. Jamaican are some of the kindest people going. And what this person is a true testament of soul. I have two half Ghanaian granddaughter's and they are very good persons and I am proud of both there heritage the other half is Jamaican of course .
