I lost my mom in 04 and I played this song for her in the hospital the day she passed because this said it all. I played it again at her funeral so that she could hear it again not being in pain. I can't listen to this one without crying.

I just read up about it. It was originally meant to be based on the troubled life of Jessica Savitch, but corporate kept interfering to make it have more mainstream appeal, something that haunted the writers for years afterward, especially since critics were especially harsh on its lack of originality, use of overdone tropes, and extreme deviation from the source material. I feel it's kind of sad it ended up nothing like how the project creators originally envisioned, but at least some people liked it.

Yes, she this is her song. She is just one of the best vocalist of all time!! It was featured in the movie: Up Close and Personal. Thank you Billy for bringing us another great Celine song and I just love the way you reacted to it, you just get so excited which to watch you brings me joy!!

This song also worked on a personal level for Celine Dion Dionne because it was the story of her and her husband who had been her manager since childhood.

Celine is the original. Just like Dolly, everyone remakes their stuff. Song is from Up Close and Personal - BYSE will definitely show up when watching this movie.

Agree! I like the video of Celine meeting the Bee Gees in the studio to sing with them for the first time, and Barry is overcome with emotion.

@@JemJam2976 Agreed. Celine sang quite a number of them as well. LeAnn Rimes did one for the Disney movie 'Quest for Camelot' as well and Xtina also sang a few, especially early in her career. Take a look at a lot of the #1 hits from the 90's and you'll find Ms Warren's name on it. She is an amazing songwriter, and pair her with David Foster and you are guaranteed a hit.

This song makes me cry every time. I cried watching this video. I was adopted when I was 5. This is my mom's favorite Celine Dion song. My mom had a massive stroke in September 2020. She is still alive and she celebrated her 60th birthday in February.. Although she is different now. But every time I hear this song it reminds of better times when my mom would play this song on road trips. She is single mother who adopted two other kids.

Was my wedding song in 1999. Up Close and Personal was an awesome movie!! I am divorced now, but this song is timeless and totally fits my current relationship as well. Even more so 20 plus years later.
