I have a question , when I get a pap am I allowed to ask for anything to help my nerves and pain that a pap causes ? Just curious

Mines is the 27🎉

The last time I tried to schedule one, they told me I only need it once every 5 years. I had cervical cancer 15 years ago, but they said it's fine. What do you think?

What. Mine is every three years for pap and every year for a normal vaginal exam. With no medical history. The every 5 years is sketchy

For a normal vagina exam? What the hell. This is such an over usage of medical interventions and another reason to bill insurance. It's innapropriate whatever the context for a stranger to insert their fingers into a woman's vagina. Doesn't make a difference if it's a standard medical procedure. ​@@napoleons_wife

Can you get some sort of anaesthesia for that?
