This was a great tribute to these incredibly talented legends. It's rare to see Laurel and Hardy in their real life personas.

I would punch that Host square between the eyes if I was there and he cracked one more weight reference towards Mr. Hardy. That was so dis-respectful.

It was very disrespectful and uncalled for and not funny, But Mr.Hardy kept his cool.

Two of the greatest life enhancers that ever lived, may they rest in eternal peace. I love how Babe looked emotional but the host was awful, one more fat joke and I would have punched my laptop, that is no way to treat a brilliant legend like Oliver Hardy.

You have to remember that back then, it was all part of the act to make fat jokes regarding Hardy, and that it was almost expected. And if you or I had been in the audience back then, we would have laughed as well. Now, of course, it seems out of order, but we can't look back at those days with the eyes of today, we have to imagine what it was like back then, and not judge too harshly.

it's never a bad time to see these wonderful boys...but this show did them less than justice.ralph edwards seems crass in the exreme and totally wasted a chance to worship at the feet of such comedy giants.they were never given their due in their lifetime, compared to todays so-called comics.maybe that's the secret...give everything you have and make people happy for all time, and don't worry too much about wealth and celebrity etc.great men.

I enjoyed both of these great men. I do agree that the fat jokes were bad taste by Ralph Edwards.

As I said in part 1, of "This Is Your Life", they hated this! L&H were private family people offstage. I made a comment on part 1, that Stan wrote ALL the movies & shorts they made. I forgot to say, that he never wanted his name used in the writing credits. He was sure, it would ruin L&H if people knew that he was the creator... My favorite short, is "Helpmates"!!!
