He isn't the greatest fighter, but for me, he is the most likeable boxer on the planet. No posturing, no facade - just a real genuine guy

Dave is as honest as it can be...I see a lot of myself in him...self deprecating but honest at the same time...really routing for him on this Thomas fight

He is an honest lad but how many chances does he need? He talks about wanting to fight Dubois, fuck me, he wouldn't stand a chance. Nice lad but kind of a joke.

Hearn's never liked his act it seems.

Eddie has been acting like he's the big man lately, he needs to tone down patronising the people who make him money.

Tough love from Eddie. It never seems like David takes any of this seriously. If this doesn't motivate him then nothing will.

Kell nearly got blinded against GGG and again when he lost to Spence at Bramall Lane and i reckon Eddie took it out on Dave.

Dont be angry at Eddie. I respect Eddie so much, you can see in the past interviews he was distraught when Dave lost,I think he sees him like a little brother-ish type and has genuine love for him. Good man Eddie for not turning Dave away when you could of.

Eddie put him in up against killers like Ortiz and Whyte and he stepped in at last minute and got paid peanuts for doing it. This is the kind of talk that should be done behind closed doors, not embarassing the guy at a public press conference. He might not be the best boxer in the world but I've got nothing but respect for Allen and Eddie should too.

I think what Eddie did is good, he needs to put the spotlight on Dave and put him under a bit of pressure so he trains extremely hard and takes it seriously because in reality he is a decent fighter who should blow this guy away, Good luck Dave!
