Going into ghost; year zero, Cirice, square hammer are all MUSTS. Especially because Cirice won a Grammy. Also it’s a mask. Papa Emeritus 1,2,3 cardinal copia, and papa 4 all have a unique mask made but are ultimately the same lead singer with a different persona.

This song was in the Halloween Kills movie. “Theatrical” is a good word to describe Ghost. Papa wears a combination of a prosthetic mask and makeup. I would love to see you cover some more Ghost tracks.

it's just a mask, it's not makeup. the mask is a full over the head silicone mask made by immortalmasks. it's permanently painted so any difference or variation you see in paint work live is unique copies of each mask. the only makeup involved is under the eyes on his actual face so it blends with the mask!

the like 80s vibe to the sound is totally deliberate. I really really hope you go through the albums the way you have with Sleep Token and NR, Ghost is one of my absolute favourite bands (alongside Sleep Token) and the albums all have a different theme and vibe. Their newer stuff moves a little away from the really in your face satanism, but even when you look at the older stuff it's there in part to call out wrongs that have been done through religious institutions, while the most recent full album Impera poked more at politics than religion.

God ghost is one of my favorite bands right now. The lore to the band is so good and interesting

Yes!!! Thank you for doing Ghost, I love this band. This one is kind of a bad examples since this was for a movie. I would recommend Ritual, Rats, or Dance Macabre for a true Ghost experience. Love you guys thank you again!

I have to agree with Kyle that I was perplexed when I first heard Ghost. There's something special about them, their sound and their presence. Can confirm that when I saw them for the first time last month they did not disappoint!

I think you guys would really enjoy their song Cirice in particular because of the theatricality of the video. It's also just a really good song! You should definitely do more ghost!

Ghost is a fun, camp satanic shtick with very different sounds between albums but a firm underpinning of hooks and harmonies under a metal veneer (hence labels like ABBA-Sabbath, Glam-Goth or Scooby-Doom)

Some people hate ghost because they play relatively simple music. But for many of us we dont care, because they do it with such soul and execute it so well that it grabs hold of you.

The ties to Halloween is that Tobias was asked by a friend that worked on Halloween kills if they could write a song for the movie. They didn't have time for that but they thought Hunters Moon would suite the end credits. And it's a prosthetic mask. Do Rats and you can really see that.

I'm always here for some Ghost! 🤘 Any time "Hunter's Moon" comes up on my playlist, it's a vibe. I'm a fan of Halloween season, so it makes sense. If you go down the Ghost hole, keep in mind that their sound is going to be all over the place genre-wise, but it's all good stuff. Okay... the problem with Hunter's Moon is that the version of this song for Halloween Kills and the one on Impera are VERY different. I love them both, but you should listen to them back to back to really appreciate how the differences that made each version work so well for each project.
