I hope things have gotten better for you. I was just ghosted by a guy I started to like and then he just disappeared and I mean I’m not surprised because it happens a lot. I just am tired. I was ghosted by a friend a month before and it really hurt. So at this point it is what it is… there’s nothing more I can do but live my life.

My first time to experience this, and I'm 35 yrs old I thought he is already the one. It pains me a lot now but good thing that I'm a goal oriented woman, so I'm hurting but I'm moving forward.

I just ghosted a guy because he was starting to gaslight and breadcrumb me. I find that disrespectful and I'm not going to take the high road. The onus is always on women to teach men how to treat us. I know he knows what he's doing, men are not stupid.

If someone is abusive, that's ok to ghost them and may be the only safe way to get out of the relationship. If a guy is a good guy though, ghosting is extremely unfair.

Exactly! I always ghost guys who are trying to play with me. They know what they’re doing! And when I ghost them they know I know what they’re trying to do too! Go play with the next one🤪😂😂😂

I got ghosted by someone who was on the rebound. She was fresh out of a long term relationship. She tried to act like it was no big deal but it was clearly hurting her. I found out a month later that she actually had to get a restraining order against her ex. Anyway, she suggested that we make some plans when things open up (covid). Three weeks later when things started opening up, I invited her somewhere. She went ghost. I wasn't surprised. People on the rebound are all over the place emotionally. 14 MONTHS later, she reaches out to apologize. She said she realized that she was way too fast in suggesting we make plans together. She knew that the only reason I invited her out is that SHE brought it up. She was afraid that if she declined the invite that SHE suggested, that I'd get mad at her, and she already had a problem with a psycho ex boyfriend. The excuse was that she didn't know how to decline without risking a confrontation that she didn't have the emotional energy to participate in. It may be true. It may not. I do no reach out to ghosts. Once I realize what's happening, the ghost will NEVER hear from me again until they call me and make it right. If they never call me, then that is the end of it. If they call, you really need to be indifferent. That had worked best for me. You are right about what you say in this video.

I was ghosted for 6.5 yrs. This is so true. Rejection is my protection.

I’m just sitting here so inspired by you right now. Like you must have such strong self esteem and value yourself so much that when you got ghosted, you didn’t even try to reach out because you knew you did nothing wrong. I am so insecure so I do the opposite. I worry if it’s something I said, if he didn’t find me pretty, or I did something wrong. Worry worry worry. And then I’ll send a text asking if everything’s okay, send another one expressing that I’m hurt, another expressing anger, and then a last text apologizing for texting so much. Like the fact that he did that to you didn’t even affect you that much because you knew that someone who deserves you won’t do that to you. I’m just so amazed and impressed and I hope I can develop my self esteem so I can be like you one day.

I guess as life happens and I cry my way through hurtful times, I realize my worth and learn my lessons through those tears. I’m honestly still a work in progress but I get better every day. Thanks for your video. I’ve been ghosted by a close friend. It’s very painful but each week I feel better. I went through so much self-doubt and sad ness. Well said and so helpful. I feel so much better after watching this. I unfortunately was ghosted continuously for a whole year. Like you, I had pride and never messaged him when he disappeared. Whenever he returned he carried on like normal. I was left so disoriented and dizzy, not to mention hurt. Sadly, I allowed him to come and go because I thought that liked him but actually I think I probably have a low self esteem. I would always feel as if something was not right and I actually cut him off 3 times. He then returned this year to tell me he is sorry for not telling me that he is married. I still am in shock as to why he lied to me. I finally accept and take ownership that for a whole year I allowed this guy to disrespect me. The first time when he ghosted me after kissing him, I should have blocked and deleted. A month ago I finally decided to block him, but he messaged on another number, but only to disappear again. I breathed in and just blocked and deleted this other number too. Enough is enough. Men can be so cruel

you really helped me out. i went out on a date with this guy yesterday. he was amazing and sweet...we were supposed to head back to a hotel right after.... but he stood me up...and i was so ashamed and embarrassed. Luckily a friend helped me out and got me home. and he never called me back...not even checking on me...to see if i was okay.... i was at a very vulnerable state... and it hurt like hell. but your video really helped me up. thank you.

So True, Your advice was spot on. I got love bombed and then he got distant. I think he thought I was a better fit for him and dropped whom ever he was dating first and then when things didn’t go like he thought with me he went back to who ever he had before (my intuitions) he stopped contacting me and was watching my stories etc. my follower count went up tremendously and he tried to come back. Naive I thought he was genuine and then he stopped responding the next day. Now I know to move on because that chapter is over forever. Just wish I could get this memory out of sight

I asked if our 5 Yr relationship was over he didn't give me an answer, just he needed space as he apparently 'needed to get his life in order' he was also gaslighting me a form of mental abuse. True words! When a person is toxic, we are allowed to be selfish and think of ourselves, for peace of mind. Just that sometimes, the person might really not know he/she is being toxic. Maybe it would be better to tell them about it first, mildly and then if they continue with the attitude and it's something you can't deal with, moving on might be the best option for you. In the ghostees mind, he or she might have an idea that it was the vibe that chased you away. Otherwise, it's usually hard for the victims and harder because they're completely clueless on what exactly made you leave.

The only thing I don't agree with in this video is early on where you said that men ghost more than women do; I personally believe it's the other way around. But aside from that I strongly agree with this entire video. I never once ever felt it was my fault if a female that I really liked ghosted me, especially since I did absolutely nothing to justify or warrant it. My best friend since long time ghosted me, at least thats my impression. My phone got stolen last month, because of that I was also not able to have access to contacts, social media. I recently got a new simcard and am able to access old addresses and social media like Facebook, Whatsapp ect. Only to notice my best friend didn't even try to reach me, all the time my phone and social media was off. No call no sms no what so ever. In that moment I realized the image I had of a best friend was a picture or the past I tried to keep alive. This moment was a lso a present made me realize that Im the one in this "friendship" who is interested in this "friendship" that doesnt exist anymore. I wrote him for not hurting feelings of his other remaining or new friends its only fair not to ghost

I just ghosted my sister-in-law! The reason for it was after another woman married into the family the wonderful relationship that I had with that first sister-in-law started to disappear. And now that sister-in-law has turned into a clone of the newest sister-in-law. The sister-in-law that I knew previously is completely gone! She now ignores me(unless she needs something for me or wants to brag about something), lies to me and has become downright toxic and horrible. I feel like I have every right to stop talking to someone like that.

How about the fact that they realize, you require mutual effort, trust, and respect and they are used to those who accept their breadcrumbs.

Yes, I have been in a situation like that...this person actually came back...and now left again. Last time with no explanation, he ended up getting a girlfriend last time. This time he said he's busy with work and that I live with family and it would be impossible for us to see each other. Lame excuse ... I'm done ! His loss!

This is like a person getting mad that someone didn't call them umm you have a phone you can reach out to see what's up not waiting a year wondering why that person isn't contacting you 🤦‍♂️

Lol. You have a point but This IS NOT THE SAME THING. But if it’s how you’d handle it in that situation, fine. What works for you may not work for others. Read through the comments and you’d see people whose experience are way beyond ‘someone didn’t call me for a year’. This video is for such people who can relate. And funny enough you can reach out AND STILL BE GHOSTED AGAIN. Some people just don’t know how to end things and so they ghost you.

Really sorry you had to go through that. Sometimes some things happen for reasons we do not know but Instead of wallowing in self pity, it can actually be an opportunity to give yourself a break and just breathe. You dont always have to be the fixer. If you're really happy within yourself, that can defeat the loneliness. Take everyday as you see it and try to forget your 'ghoster'. Especially if you're sure you didn't do the 'hurting', you might be so into yourself and they'll come back and you wont need them. The answer is within you. ❤

Do men and women ghost for the same reasons?

Everyone I knew or talked to has ghosted me practically so I have no friends never had luck having friends but I had a amazing life and feel blessed for all my experiences. But here's a recent experience I ran into a some what close ex friend(wb) in a bar out of respect I said hi and greeted him he just said oh I'm so sorry nlah blah I was just like I'm doing great I live here and loving it etc he told me to msg him one app we have I did after a few weeks but got ghosted again and before(a year and a half ago before) that we also ran into each other and he was like "oh you should come over sometime...etc" but he also ghosted me that time. I'm done though if I run onto him again I'll just ignore him.

I was ghosted because of money. I realize that's all he wanted from me.

I blame Facebook! Being on fb for 7 years I never had a female friend request. Recently I had 12 female friend request. Some very attractive young ladies to a 65 year old man. I contacted one gal and by the end of the text she was swearing her love to me forever and marriage. I told her I needed to hear her voice. She came up with a lame excuse. I've been alone since 27 so a beautiful blonde pulling on my heart strings was just cruel. Luckily I found a video by Kenny Weiss who explained the psychology of a ghoster. I blocked her. For some reason I've always gotten involved with screwed up women. I posted a warning about ghosters on my fb account and they took it off. Anything above stupid and childish on Facebook gets removed and they silently block your account. It's dedicated to destroying America.

all these terms did they have for a relationship such as ghosting gaslighting and now breadcrumbing I have no idea what that is what do you supposed to do when you want to just break it off you going to tell the person now there's in my young life I've been ghosted I got over didn't like it they say that person is a coward but it might be they don't want to hurt that other person's feelings in a relationship you can't win you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't so you call him up your tell him they're ugly they smell funny you don't brush your teeth their hair is is ugly they fart all the time you can't take it no more yeah just can't win

I've been ghosted multiple times by women and never by a man. I don't believe men ghost more often than women but ghosting happens to both genders equally by the same kind of people. People who are conflict avoiders tend to ghost.

Okay! But sometimes, even the ‘good men’ ghost. It’s neither here nor there. Some ‘good men’ ghost because they’re probably not ready for something serious and don’t have the ‘balls’ to be open to their partner, ghosting is usually the easy way out for such people. So in other words,GOOD MEN GHOST TOO. THEY’RE JUST NOT CONFRONTATIONAL.

I really wonder if u know what ur saying right now. So every person out there has been wrongfully ghosted is what ur saying. What ur saying about ghosting seems very one sided & seems like a very biased way of thinking. How about those ppl trying to get out of a unreasonable, toxic, abusive relationship & the person doesnt listen to u or what u say. Its funny how ppl will even call this ghosting & act like the person thats leaving this unhealthy relationship is the one in the wrong. How about those people that will taking advantage of someones compassion & kindness? is it ok to ghost them? I will say that ghosting is not only a reflection of the person thats doing the ghosting, its also in some cases a reflection of the person thats being ghosted too. If ur not doing any self reflecting even if something like this happens, then ur maybe have a lack self-awareness. Putting the blame on only the one doing the ghosting is a cop out. Sometimes ppl will ghost someone for safety reasons. thank u for the video
