If someone comes at me with a team of less than 6 pokemon, I know for sure they've got a meme strat for me At one point, I faced a team with a Victini, a Liepard, and a bunch of other pokemon I don't remember And all they did was just spam Assist to spam V-Create Easy enough to counter, but admittedly pretty clever Then there was one single Moody Shuckle If you get unlucky with Moody, you're pretty much dead, no matter how hard you try

You use six Pokemon because it's all you're allowed. He uses 3 because it's all he needs

@@ronnydragon2211 because they aren't beating on their chest... their beating on their belly lmao. Lucario has a whol torso that doesn't have a spike to beat on without issues. Also every pokemon that has belly drum has a big or long belly to do that on.

I don't know what happened, I don't even play pokemon, but that ronda rousy quick knockouts of lucario was crystal clear. I enjoyed watching it. Have a good day to me and everyone who just and are about to watch the video.

Alr. So basically what happened is that Azumarill (blue guy) used Belly Drum which makes you lose 50% of your hp but boosts your attack to the max, then it died. Lucario came in and used Copycat which copies the last move used, since Lucario cannot normally get Belly Drum. Then it killed everyone with Extreme Speed, a normal type move that basically always goes first, but Gengar was a ghost type meaning Extreme Speed wouldn't hurt it, Lucario used Bullet Punch which is steel type and takes out Gengar. Idk why I did this I was just bored.

Just to clarify, Azumarill did not die for using Belly Drum. It used Perish Song before, which kills both your and your rival's Pokémon in three turns (that's why the other guy changed Roselia). As Azumarill was not changed, it died allowing Lucario to enter and copy the last move used.

@@demy1393 not endure but sturdy endure is a move which makes a pokemon survive on one health sturdy is an ability which does that if i was at full health when the ability was used just clarifying cause it might be confusing to somone learning pokemon

you defeated him so closely to an NPC experience, he developed his own defeated NPC dialogue.

I mean, he's obviously confused about this strat. It isn't available to copy/paste from smogon so...

@@martijnemmenofficial Because copycat copy the move that uses before it regardless of whoever uses it. This means that it will also copy the opponent's move and mess up your combo if you do nothing about it. This is where Perish Song and protect come in. It let you do the combo. Protect make sure your pokemon die to Perish song instead of the opponent's move(which as stated before, will also ruin your combo since it will copy the opponent's move) and Perish song let you time the belly drum so that your pokemon can copy it.

@@martijnemmenofficial As mentioned earlier, it is to bait opponents into switching the end of perish song, thus allowing you to use belly drum uncontested. Ironically, the best way to prevent this strategy is to let a pokemon die with perish song so that the combo does not happen.

There are moves which would counter it. Spiky Shield being a primary example.

I love how they are always confused or call haxs about what just happened when they can just look at the history for each turn and look up what the moves do

I depict this vid as Lucario showing up, vanishing in high speeds and beating the shit out of all enemy pokemon at the same time and knocking them out in 4 seconds in total.

How to be safe in every situation. (1) have entry hazards (2) have Brick Break or Psychic Fangs (3) Have Clear Smog or force the opponent's Pokemon to switch moves (4) Priority Moves (5) Never miss moves (though most avoided using double team or minimize, but better safe than sorry) (6) entry hazards removing moves (be careful with defog). Now, the only reason why you lose is that your adversary out-powered you.

Riolu learns Copycat. So he had Azumarill use the LAST move after surviving just enough damage to drop to Belly Drum (50%~) so that Copycat would grab the Belly Drum from Azumarill. Belly Drum gives you a +4 to Physical Attack; combine that with the fact that Lucario nearly out speeds just about EVERY OTHER Pokémon, Extreme Speed hits about 100,000% of the time.

Belly Drum gives +6 Attack which is ×4 Attack power. Also Extremespeed and Bullet Punch give +2 and +1 priority respectively.

and i believe in a previous video copycat was able to to still copy a belly drum even though it failed cause if low hp so unless it was updated to not copy failed moves it should still work on failed moves

@@jamessantana4219 yes, it works even if belly drum fails. Emvee had a video with a similar strategy, except using toxic orb to die by poison on a failed belly drum before bringing the copycat Mimickyu in. :)

He ran ESpeed and Bullet Punch for coverage and priority. Drain Punch was free against Empoleon who is slow af. Couple that with Lucario being a LITERAL glass cannon even w/o buffs and give him a ×4 and you have a bad time.

When i saw the first belly drum i was like "now that is a questionable play, maybe a missclick" then i said "now that is a dangerous lucario, maybe he'll sweep"

I find it funny that he didn't even have crap to say, just genuinely surprised and confused

By the way: The Wario clip is German and says: „So ein Mist!“ (literally “Such a manure!” , having the same meaning as “What the crap!”) and not “So, I missed!”

The only thing missing would have been a switch to Guile's theme when Lucario used Belly Drum :)

Now, you see, I'd probably react just like Dopest Guy had I been in his shoes... but the moment my first Pokemon got OHKOed? _Then_ I'd know just what you'd done, and react immediately.
