This Is Why You Should Visit Taha'a French Polynesia

Our journey to Taha'a, this mesmerizing island in French Polynesia, was an experience of a lifetime! We were drawn to Taha'a primarily for its stunning coral garden, a paradise for snorkeling. I did my best to capture the essence of this place, but trust me, seeing it in person is a must. It was beyond breathtaking!
During our stay at La Perle De Tahaa, everything felt perfect. Our bungalow was not only clean and comfy, but the whole property exuded a wonderful vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we even had the luxury of a restaurant/bar right on-site, boasting dishes cooked by a local chef.
One of the highlights was an incredible tour with four unforgettable stops. Picture this: a delicious lunch on a private motu, with sharks gracefully swimming nearby. Taha'a exceeded all expectations I had, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're planning a trip to French Polynesia, make sure Taha'a is on your list!

Taha'a was our favorite island. Your footage is AMAZING! We had the same captain, he could do everything! And the gentleman that helped you get back to Taha'a, i think he was our next door neighbor! Lovely gentleman ❤

All of us cut ourselves when we were at the coral garden. We were trying to fight the current while avoiding the corals. We found the pathway but went in wrong direction. We should have walk to the beach and swim back to the lagoon, not the other way around.

I started from the opposite end and was fighting the current mostly, I can imagine I missed a lot of beautiful coral closer to the reef. But sorry to hear that, we can only fight the current so much. Hope you were still able to take in the beauty. Thank you for the comment!

Hi Matthew! Great video. We were trying to find the link to the boart tour. We are going there this summer and it looked like a great day. Where did the boat tour pick you up and how do you reserve a spot. Thanks so much for any info you can give .

Hey thanks so much! It was an amazing day for sure! Our accommodation booked it for us last minute and lucky for us we got the last 2 spots. I do recommend booking in advance if you can, I'll put the link to the tour company below. The tour picked us up by boat from our accommodation and dropped us off by shuttle at the end of the day which was included. That's awesome you are heading to Taha'a! One of my favorite places in the world, most beautiful water, and people. Have a fantastic time! www.manawa.com/index.php/en-GB/provider/are-tours-raiatea-tahaa/5828

Hey thank you so much! We'll I can definitely say Bora Bora lived up to its hype. But we really enjoyed Tahaa, the tour we took was incredible and the coral garden was spectacular. I do wish we spent a bit more time in Huahine. All of them we visited were great honestly I'd recommend getting an island hopper pass with Tahiti Air and checking out a few. Hope that helps!

@@matthewkingtravels thank you very much. If u don‘t have many time and u should choose just one island except bora bora, which one would u choose?

@jakeline5759 Probably the toughest question ever lol. Out of the island's I've been to I might consider Maupiti, I thought the water was most beautiful and the slowest of them all. Otherwise I would look into Moorea as an alternative to Bora Bora, I heard great things. That's where I would go next. Sorry not a clear answer but you really can't go wrong with either. Hope it helps a bit. Thanks again for the comment!

10:03 Great Video!!! How long did it take you to kayak to the Coral Garden/Motu? Was it a hard trip there?

Hey thanks so much! 🙏 It took us around 20 minutes or so and was pretty easy although the weather wasn't great and made the water a bit choppy between the wind and the other boats. But on a calm day it would be super easy. Definitely worth the effort!! 🤙

Nice video ! Can I use a drone without registering first?

Hey thanks so much! I didn't have to register with the FAA since I have the Mini 3 and it's less than 250 grams amd not for commercial use. But I'd check the local laws anywhere you go, I had no problem in French Polynesia although they limit altitude and distance I believe. Hope this helps. 🤙

@@Jshegruwiwlw I'm using Gopro Hero 10 black. I had it inside a telesin domeport I bought on Amazon. This will give you the cool looking water line and wider field of view. Hope this helps 🤙
