    I'm the soldier in the story and I still had to deal with this in 2013. I moved back to California and once my job sold their company we had to do background checks and they found out that Texas had a warrant for my arrest. So 6 years later I hired a lawyer, lost money, he did nothing. I flew in to El Paso and represented my self and I got traffic school. This was still so much fun and I'd do it all over again. Thanks again Andy.

    @moriacolo it was a 05 STI with all HKS bolt ons, (in the video im the one with the HKS decal across ) gt30r turbo, mine wasn't super crazy, but my buddies (the Dr. In this story) Was more modified I believe he had meth injection, fully built engine, and upgraded turbo. I was a young kid when I had it I was 20 years old and I went to tons of nightly meets, weekend drag strip events, and car shows. We had so many ppl that we were friends with that were AWD we started our own little "crew" with a name and everything it was only evos, and WRX's until one member got a GTR when it was released. I had a blast with that STI and sometimes I miss it, but it just got me in trouble to much. This story was the 2nd time I was arrested because of that car. So once I moved back to California I had to sell it. My wife ended up getting a 2017 STI but she also got rid of it once we had our 2nd kid in 2018.

    You must realize the judge was wrong and the officer was right? Unless in your world a judge who is wrong is the one with the common sense? This is a video about the cars that were speeding and participating in the race. They were in the rally. If they are in a car with rally stickers, speeding, AND wearing the rally shirts, they are in the rally. Just like a person wearing a Laker's shirt while on the Laker's court, bouncing a basketball, is likely a basketball player.

    @@logicreversed18t Yes they were in a rally. And yes SOME cars were speeding. But not all the cars. Probably not even all the cars that were pulled over and impounded. You do not convict on "well I have an opinion". Police are supposed to have actual evidence. To do otherwise is to perpetuate the poor court decisions that plagued the south when black defendants were in court. Or Mexican. Etc, etc, etc.

  • @Ticklethealgorithm

    @Ticklethealgorithm

    2 жыл бұрын

    No, it's facts like "Talking to police only puts you in danger" that make that statement valid. When a cop asks you "Where you headed today?" They aren't being friendly, they are looking for a reason to search your vehicle. If you were driving a white pickup and you say "I'm leaving walmart and heading home" and earlier that day someone in a white truck stole something from walmart, you're getting detained and searched with or without consent. That's factually the only reason they ask questions like that. Don't talk to cops. They not only aren't your friend, they are your enemy!

They also have Grand Tour events that are about $1,000 which are in different parts of the country. Power Tripping cops make me sick... The cops who realize that you catch more flys with honey than vinegar are the ones who are the most effective. I got pulled over for making a very sporty move in my car. Cop pulled me over that night, and after the whole putting my hands on the wheel, asking for permission to get my license, etc... I told him yes Im aware it might have been too sporty for his roads/i should know better/driving record effects my career/etc he kindly told me what he saw from behind, how other cars might have reacted badly to my quick moves, etc. Educated me on the situation and cut me loose without getting a ticket.

    Wait wait wait…is it not legal to increase the safety for the car occupants but taking out the normal seats and belts and replacing it with a bucket seat and 5 point harness? These cops should have lost their job for targeted harassment. Especially the one who kept going to different judges. This is a scary power trip story that should never have happened. We’re you guys in the wrong in some ways? Yes. Did the cops have evidence of speeding? Not always. Did they care? Nope

    5 point harasses can be a safety hazard. If you crash and the car catches on fire and you can't undo your seat belt it is a lot easier for a cop to cut once to free you. Different story with a harness.
