Sadly for WHAT? She broke no laws! He invited her in, she did not beg or demand anything from him. The only thing the family could do is bring him home, hire a caretaker or put him in a home! Better than some so called "Care" Homes, believe me, his house is neat & tidy and someone has set up that hidden cam for him.. never make assumptions.. My Moms next door neighbour with several "problems" was doing similar and we visited her daily. People are crafty, the neighbour would call evening time & Mom was glad of some extra company because neighbour seemed like a "sweet lady".. Go see your folks as often as you can, you owe them your life. Set up cams. If there are any *genuine neighbours ask if they would pop in also. Its very sad what this dreadful woman is doing & I hope sje got caught. Its called "Elder Abuse" and is an offense.

I knew an elderly lady that got taken advantage of when she started getting dementia and it was very sad. She never got her money back, either. I am in my 60's but have cognitive issues. A family member is a designated payee. I have a small account with less than $100 in it. ( If I want Take out or something) That way, no one except my Family has access to my money, my bills are paid, so I don't get behind, or forget.

Potted plant one at 10:18 ... Find it hard to believe that one of those Coconut mat plant pots could burn that hot and that long! Just not that much fuel for a fire that intense, looks more like someone had a roman candle or a flair or soaked it in something to me! All I can say is than God the wind was blowing so hard AWAY from the house and not towards it!!

Bad thing is, homeowners insurance and court order do not cover the costs or order restitution in most of these cases. If they do it's $10 a month..because the defendant is poor. What the ... There was 2 guys running from the cops and both bailed out of a running truck. It ran right into my parents porch that was like a wooden deck with fencing/railings. (much like the last video with the fire) I think they eventually got half the cost of repairs. It's not right.

But if he makes it in before the police, they might as well send someone with a body bag. Once you step outside it’s 50/50.. can’t really claim to be scared for your life if you go towards what scared you.. (unless you’re a cop) yup I went there..

Nursing home care costs 75K a year easily, in a normal facility... Maybe the guy had 1 daughter, and his wife died, and she's all there is to help him? And maybe she has to go to work? I'm sure she'd like to do better, but she's clearly not wealthy.

Don't judge without knowing the facts. Sometimes when people are aging but they can still get around but dementia is in the early stages, they are able to stay in their home with someone checking in on them. Sometimes when you put your loved one in a facility, their health declines quickly.
