Stay strong. I opted to turbo my miata ~10 years ago and went full diy. It was def a whole ass project. I knicked the oil pickup when i drilled the oil pan and had to pull the motor out … but long story short i got there (and you will too 100%) and it was so fucking worth it 😂

Hey man it’ll be worth it for sure. Just finished my DIY 02 Miata turbo build. Sat in the driveway for 4 months before I did anything to it. Lots of trips to hardware stores and internet returns. But she’s on a safe tune using a speedyefi and it rips. Swapping pump and injectors for reliability when I get the time. Currently stock on both.

@Griffin Blanchard it has a T3 turbo on it and power kicks in around 4k rpms but man does it pull, especially on the interstate. I get slack for being on stock pump and injectors, but it's on a safe tune and I only use the power when needed. You'll definitely love the car more once you're done.

NGL I was thinking it was gonna be sketchy to buy a used kit but the drama makes for another video so…
