Harley drivers can't pronounce anything else except the word "Harley"; maybe sometimes "Davidson" if they pause then take a run at it. Everything else is a Ricer to them. Don't ask too much. They wear half helmets and beanies so their brains won't overheat while they're trying to shift gears in the middle of a curve.

All I know is I've owned a 2006 gsxr 750 and I now own a 2013 street glide and I will NEVER go back to a sport bike. I can ride my glide for hundreds of miles and get off at the end of the ride and feel like I need to get back on it. I went like 300 miles on my gsxr and when I got off I didnt want to get back on it for at least a couple days. I'm just giving my personal experience.

Try a hayabusa, zx 14 or even the BMW K1300, they are sport touring bikes, you can take a spirited ride and be comfortable as well, easily lay down 300 to 400 miles NP. A GSXR 750 is made for the track not long rides, Harley's are for cruising, that's like comparing apples to oranges.

I can attest to a GSXR not being the best choice for long mileage days, but not all sportbikes are the same. My 14 is a dream to ride long, spirited, cruising, etc. side note, also depends on how ya ride em. if you try to slab a GSXR, yeah, it sucks. but canyon carve that beeatch... oh HELL yeah! I put 350 miles on my 750 up in the Hills and didn't want to get off of it. Had an absolute blast!! BUUUT, there is no way I could do 350 miles of the superslab. This is so sad watching that guy on the harley. What bastard told him harleys are fast😂 I have a BONE STOCK honda vtx1800 that runs 12.5 and by the looks of it, that guy has considerably more money in his than I do mine. And with a simple tune I could probably squeeze a win out on him

@@js53168 configuration and liquid cooling are the deciders. v-twins are made for torque, and don't make the horsepower that inline fours do. conversely, for every 1000cc inline four out there throwing down 150+ hp, they make less than 100 lb-ft of torque. they're just built for different purposes, to do different jobs. i love both my bikes, but i can't expect one to do the others job.

Just not a fan of bracket racing. If it's not heads up it doesn't seem right. Did it many years ago with my '68 Camaro SS 396, ... but could never see it as real racing. Might as well buy a VW Beetle and get a 10 second head start. ;)
