As an angels fan, i completely agree, we suck. And sadly it will never change. All we had to do was get better pitching. We had Ohtani, Trout, Walsh, Ward, Rendon in the same lineup. If we just had decent pitching two years ago, we would have won 120 games. And i feel very bad for Mike Trout. Trust me, all of our fans agree with you. Harper doesn't deserve it as much as Trout.

SAD but this guy is right on. I'm a long time Angel fan that doesn't live in the bubble of Orange County. Another point that this guy should bring up, bring back a former Dodger let go because he didn't have the MLB corporate image the Dodger brand must have. He is a much needed starting pitcher, potential scout to bring on more good pitchers from Japan and Mexico because he has been playing there since MLB forced him into exile. The cheap Angels owner won't wake up and realize what needs to be fixed, he is to focused on his MONEY. This fact is a reason I'm not to fond of how MLB has been corrupted by this. Bauer also is very analytical on pitching and preparation that was cultivated by being a UCLA Mechanical Engineering graduate. He is a boots on the ground guy, unlike many making decisions in MLB management. This same rulership is going on well beyond just MLB.

Gotta let the baseball players make baseball decisions, not the business men.

All the Angels need is to play the Tigers, who ALWAYS either get swept by them or come close, 44 times a year. Think the Angels are pathetic? My Tigers went 17 years as a loser team (1988-2005) and are always rebuilding. But if we came to Anaheim more during the season we would probably go 36-126. Somehow we can't beat them...ever.

Joe Maddon, yes thee Joe Maddon, was fired in 2022 at 27-29. As of 5/26/24, Ron 'gums' Washington is 20-33 and sill has a job. He has no idea how to put a lineup together. Granted, most of the players should still be in the minors, but you have to field a team somehow.
