This week we This week we cover the 2022 Ferrari F8 Tributo and why Ferrari chose to celebrate and pay tribute to the legendary F154 V8.
The Ferrari F8’s F154 3.9L Twin Turbo V8 is what legends are made of. Released in 2016, the F154 won the Best New Engine award. It also won Best Performance Engine in 2016. And again in 2017, and 2018, and once more in 2019. On top of all that, it won and kept the title for International Engine of the Year for a record setting FOUR consecutive years. From 2016-2019, Ferrari’s F154 engine broke ground unlike any Ferrari engine in history. And this is why, Ferrari decided to pay homage to this legendary V8 engine, with the 2022 Ferrari F8 Tributo.

Great video showcasing design elements of the F8!!! How Ferrari was able to achieve the HP, Torque, emission and exhaust sound output numbers simultaneously is nothing short of amazing! This is what being involved in F1 gives you! Contrast this to GM's C8 Corvette and it is obvious the C8, even with the Z06 package, was designed by amateurs!!!

I agree but I am super excited to see American manufacturers step it up. The new Z06 engine may be the most sophisticated engine to come out of a US manufacturer. With that said, Ferrari is Ferrari for a reason 😁

@@StudioMotors I want US manufacturers to succeed but was completely let down with the C8! it looks like it was designed by a high school project team!!! And they used a down line car's (Camaro) taillights for the corporate flagship supercar!!! I'd like to know who was the genius that gave the green light to that idea?!!! Regarding design, the instrumentation on the C8, in fact on most American vehicles are pure crap. All they have to do is look at what Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini or even Ferrari have done and just copy it! It's that simple and yet, they continue to fail trying to re-invent the wheel!!!
