cody needs redemption arc,It would be nice to see Cody trying to redeem himself, but the best they could do is put him in a group of rebels/clones and have him look for a cure to his fast ageing like the clones from legends

It was actually revealed that in the original Obi-wan Kenobi trilogy (The Obi-wan project that was later the Obi-wan show) did actually have Cody in it.

if anything I hope they explore Cody in Live Action, I know people who don't even watch the animated stuff and because we seen Jango the Doner, Boba the son, Omega the daughter all explored, I think Live Action showing that Clone V Stormtrooper explored would be dope

would be interesting if Cody Joins obi-wan on his mission to protect the child.

I haven't seen the series yet "the bad batch", but in the military we have a saying if you don't know if somebody's dead yet. They are MIA, you don't know if they are in the next life or they are still kicking. So I would say keep a light on for Echo. Also I do know a little bit about Echo, he got that nickname by repeating orders that were given to him. 99 was particularly kind of interesting. All he ever wanted was to fight with his brothers on the line but he was deemed unfit. In the end though I do believe that he did show his courage in valor in battle. And actually did the other clones proud.

I would really love Cody and Obi Wan to meet up again. I feel like they need to get together to see the truth with their combined knowledge.

I’m in my 40s and grew up with with the original trilogy. But Clone Wars and spin offs that expand on Clone stories are my favorite. So many untold stories and many unnamed clones that need to come to light.

Hopefully Old Cody will see Force ghost Obi-wan in The Mandalorian and Grogu film, as he may become a Captain like Rex, which he can able to stop Thrawn and save the galaxy. I think Cody spin-off animated series is a good things take place after The Solitary Clone from The Bad Batch, but he still same age as The clone wars.

Couple problems with this: Main one being Cody would be extremely old at that point. Cody would be physically in his late 70s or early 80s, depending on how much time passed in Mandalorian. If Cody found the secret to age at a normal rate, why are Gregor, Rex, and Wolffe still so old in Rebels? A lot doesn't add up at that point. It's more likely he'll appear in another spin off show in the gap between Ep 3 and 4.

​​@@lockedongamingak Right, because Cody spin-off series take place between The Bad Batch and Rebels (maybe year between 18 bby and 16 bby), can't forget about Boil, Crys and Numa, whenever they want Rex and Echo show, Rex and Echo's ages is about to grow, but Cody's age isn't start to grow until at the end of his own spin-off series.

something that would point to Cody recovering his mind from the chip while under the empire is a quote about his discontent with the stormtroopers, saying something along the lines of "I'd give a million of these for even a single clone"

I do. Hate his approaches on clones. So much contradiction with ep 2 and 3. Even the order 66 chip thing. But I respect him

Oh and i forgot mention it but Cody was originally also planned to appear in an episode of star wars Rebels as one of the stormtroopers or even as an imperial officer going after Captain Rex during that one season where Rex was wearing the stormtrooper armor, as cody was mentioned as an easteregg callback as rex said that he and Cody came up with the protocals the empire uses for the radio protocals for troopers and ship to ship communications and stuff. But he was suppose to appear then but this idea got scrapped for a few different reasons. One of them being deadlines and budget.

The Clone Commando EU novel series by Karen Traviss was fantastic and did a lot to put the clones front and center. Although no longer considered canon, it's still a great read.

I hope we see Cody in live action, either obi wan season 2 or a movie… One final mission where the two friends team up to take down darth maul and crimson dawn

Cody became so wracked with grief and hate that he made an attempt to assasinate Palpatine, but wasnt successful. He was almost successful.

He doesn't. But if he goes to live with Obi-Wan like originally planned in say a Kenobi S2 or something, they got to explain why he's not around by a new hope. But who knows maybe he meets a nice woman on Tatooine and says goodbye to Obi-Wan off screen before he departs with Luke.

From what I can tell, the people who hate Filoni are often fans of the legends continuity who don't like the changes done to their favorite characters, like Barriss fans who didn't like her betrayal, or Thrawn fans who think he wasn't competent or complex enough.

That was just a regular Stormtrooper.... I don't think that at that time there were any Clonetroopers left in the imperial army.

Disney dropped the ball as usual had the right idea and scratched the clones are more loved than any other characters

I think a cool antagonist for the clone rebellion show if we get one could be Neyo or Bacara. Cause them two for sure stayed loyal to the empire.

I would love to see that meeting be it in amination, live action, or print. Especially if it occurs after the events of the Kenobi series and Obi Wan is again mentally whole i feel like it would be a very heartwarming moment of forgiveness. An alternative is that Obi Wan learns Cody is dying or otherwise in trouble and sets off to find him.

I hope we get to see Cody give his peace to Kenobi

CC-2224 needs an incredible redemption arc. We need to see him in a season 2 of Kenobi and helping Obi-Wan.

Oh, I love this it’s closure

I have kind of an idea as to what Cody could do after making amends with Obi-Wan, after rescuing a youngling Jedi from the empire with Obi-Wan, they find themselves trap, Obi-Wan turns to Cody and tells him to go in first and he will hold off the Empire, Cody puts his hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder and tells him to go he then grabs Kenobi and pushes him through the door closing it behind him with the final words being "good luck, general Kenobi" I think that would be a good way to end off Cody's story and that Cody would finally earn redemption in his eye's.

He's a robot now.....

I like to imagine that Cody joined up with the rebels like Rex and he probably either died on Hoth or fought on Endor.

"You know what makes us different from battle droids?.. We make our OWN decisions.. Our OWN choices... *thinks about order 66 against Kenobi* And... we have to live with them too..."

Tales of the clones next

Clone rebel show with a side plot with Cody finding Rex and the rebels and then finding Obi-Wan and Obi-Wan learning the full truth and forgiving Cody and the clones.

imagine, Cody after a lifetime of searching he finds Obi-wan, now known as Ben Kenobi, an old man, both of them old men. he just slowly approaches him , shaking, and as Ben reaches for his saber, Cody just drops to his knees crying, begging for forgiveness.

id like to see Cody find Obiwan and apologize and him stay for a few episodes but then Maul shows up or some other D-bag and Cody sacrifices himself by protecting Obiwan and young Luke which earns his redemption at the season finale episode

I love the clone wars show

The way I see it, such a show will need a bad ending. Rex, Wolffe and Gregor are traumatised. We can see as much when we first meet them in Rebels, each is dealing with it in their own way. Rex is avoiding conflict even while still trying to help the Rebels. Wolffe is trying to keep his brothers safe by giving in. And Gregor, Gregor has pretty much lost his mind. So I think that a clone rebellion show cannot have a happy ending where our favourite clones split up afterwards. No the way I picture every, single, clone other than the 3 survivors needs to tragically die at various points during the show. The Clone rebellion was a failure and the best way to depict that is by killing off the majority of our favourite clones, including Cody and Echo.

If Wolffle is in imperial prison... he's not getting his armor back... so i don't think he is... characters getting into prison always have different armors... the bad batch change their armor to black... crosshair got his old armor... echo wore the tk trooper armor... howzer got a new paint job... etc... i think this is why rex and gregor never showed up on tantis... its the idea that prison will change your indentity... for better or worse

Personally I've never been a fan of the inhibitor chips I always liked the old lore in the expanded universe that The clones either chose to obey or disobey order 66. Personally I would have had Cody appear in rebels as a villain still a part of the empire. Have Rex think that he's still being controlled by the inhibitor chip and try to save him only to find out that he willingly chose the empire and had his chip removed even before ordered 66.

I have this one crazy idea... Why not present Cody's arc in the same show where he is featured first? Why should we watch many shows to tie together scraps to form a coherent character arc? If they featured Cody in the Bad Batch, he should have given the screen to see where he'd end up. They had an entire Season 3 to show what happened to him. I was not happy with how The Bad Batch treated the regular clones; we were teased about their involvement in the rebellion against the Empire and it led to little. I was seriously expecting Rex and his crew to help the Bad Batch attack the secret facility in the last episodes of the show. I expect the Wolf to appear there. :/

I'm in the, "Eh, who cares?" when it comes to Cody. I would like to see a clone rebellion series, but with or without him. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The canon I'm familiar with, which doesn't mean much because Disney or some other entity changes it all the time, but from what I recall, Cody meshes into the Empire like most all Clones did, and spent his days as an instructor, eventually teaching Stormtroopers, who he hated because they were so inferior to the soldiers he knew. Esentially he's like someone who works because they have to, no enjoyment or enthusiasm behind it. Also seen therories that he becomes a Dark Trooper, but like I said, canon and fan theories change and/or are added all the time.

This is what I think, Cody and Tech were on Mount Tantis as the brainwashed assassin clones but when Wrecker smashed them through the computers he almost killed them but they "survived" and Tarkin allowed them to be taken and experimented upon to see if the dark trooper would be feasible to harvest the minds of non-able body troopers

filoni does leave things hanging out there. You don't know if he is doing that because of future series he is planning or for other reasons. Amazing how many things he has failed at like the live action series, but works on bad batch and clone wars. We will see what else he comes out with in the future. I don't want to see a cody in anything but animation because then that actor that places Jango will be in it. He is not the best. Book of Boba 🤮

The Bad Batch should have really focused on the Bad Batch we were introduced to in the Clone Wars. Likw when they first had missions with Cody. Seen more friction between Hunter and CrossHair. Season 1 finale could have been the Aftermath episode MINUS Omega. I just felt jer character wasn't necessary. There was so much source material Filoni could have used that he had left over from the Cline Wars. Plus introducing us to Howzer and other Clones. O definitely feel Filoni was pressured into adding a female character.Heard me out. Omega ALL THE SUDDEN was the smartest person in the room and all these smart commandos couldn't figure anything out? They would have died during their first mission if that was the case. So eliminating her character would have been great and just focus strictly on the Clones themselves.

David Filoni didn't write or direct ANY OF THE BAD BATCH. I don't like or dislike Dave Filoni but it's RIDICULOUS that he gets credit or criticism for things he didn't even do.
