24:55 I've seen buildings here in England built like that. There's a nearby town with a sidewalk that is obstructed by a building corner that sticks out so close to the road that you have to wait for cars to pass before you can get around the building corner.

Yeah there's quite a few villages like that near where I live. The houses get so close to the road that you can't see around the corner until you're around it.

Part-time gig he's been working on for 7 years. Hopefully he can go work full time. Dude, there's 2 million pre-orders. Even at 30$ the game has 60 million in pre-orders. 30% will go to Steam so that's 42 million left. Even IF Hooded horse gets a cut of that, Slavic magic will for sure end up with at least 20 million from this. Which is super cool if he's not lazy and continues to add on content.

Is that medieval zombie game coming out this year too?

The game has one small issue, when your population reaches over 200, the A.I starts to get stuck on storehouses, tavern's etc.

you know what would be so cool? take control of a soldier or you as the lord join the battle and fight with your troops! Archer skills or Sword fight!

Look at this stuff ! THIS STUFF ! There are wonderful settlements and castles there that the tales been saying about ! Even the damn rooftiles with water rolling on them ! 30:27 - that's how Medieval cities were built, nobody wasted land on leaving wide streets or plazas. That's why fires and plagues were so devastating.

No it isn't. They built close to the castle for self preservation. Many cities were within the castle walls. (Many of which date back to Roman times so not medieval at all)There was planty of land but most of it unprotected and dangerous. They weren't built that way they became that way naturaly. Take smaller places like Lancaster. Plenty of room because by the time of medieval Britain the roman walls had mostly disappeared.

Dev should partnership with Warhorse studio to make a collab game with Manor Lords city builder + first person combat like Kingdom Come Deliverance.

Most common vilage\town design in middel ages was , Market and a church in the centre and rest of buildings around, and Lord's manor\fort\castle on strategic place ( sorrounded by water, on a hill... and so on)

The way the developer managed to allow users to build such realistic and organic looking cities is insane. It's truly a work of art.

Can't wait to play, and would love alternate versions released in different time periods. WW2, Roman Empire, Shogun, Futuristic.

i bought the game and im so obsessed, u definitely need to turn day and night cycles, the way the light hits the buildings and the sky that changes colors. THE MUSIC, its just all so very good its basically a must have. the way your village develops over time and according to its needs is also a real eye opener of why cities and such are the built the way they are. economy is also fun, import, export etc.... best game city builder ive played. imagine minecraft was like this 🤯

Really looking forward to this game, played farthest frontier which I enjoyed. This is a amazing achievement from one developer, ok he would have had help when needed but this game looks amazing. Kingdom come deliverance is a great game, the combat takes abit to get used to which is alot of people's complaints which is why you either like the game or you don't. But the story is epic, such a great story and characters. The world itself seems alive with say shops closing and people going to bed etc. I would highly recommend it before playing the second one as the story carries on from the first

Very beautiful game and awsome PBR textures, but wondering why is collision not working like people walking in and out of walls, people walk through each other etc.

You happen to have moonwalking horses, maybe you can trick your enemies by riding your cavalry past them and then hit them with a reverse charge.

Can't help but agree, this game is special. Full of soul and an obvious passion project refined to a masterpiece. 💞✌😊👍

Some had shops but generally they were owned by welthy romans who let them out. They were restricted in height by Augustus and even more restricted after the great fire of Rome under Nero. People outside of Rome lived in Domus which were single storey houses.

Thats happening, I believe, the baron part was just a place holder sort of thing to show the combat.

it is very easy to lose hours in this game. so much fun, and the sounds, and soundtrack all come together very well.

Have you legit never seen a goat before? That was not a dog....

Why is it so dark?

I hope everybody is aware the developer is basically a one man team, ONE. And he seems to be rather apprehensive about the release, Raptor mentioned this a little bit at the beginning, but this is the internet and a lot of people will make demands that are overbearing to say the least. It is more than amazing what has been accomplished by someone who is extremely passionate about his game, so give the guy a break. And I very much believe you Raptor should point this out. Everybody and their grandmother has been posting videos about this game, and it seems to be a source of stress for the developer.
