I’m so frickin excited for this game. I grew up playing Age of Empires, but I always wished it was slower paced, and was more focused on in the town and townspeople. This looks like it’s going to scratch that itch

This was me as well, played a ton of custom AoE2 games where I put AI on easy, put up walls and just focused on building my town and farming :D

The way you build is more organic compared to others. Everyone LOVES to put lines of houses

It's fun to build organic and all, but to upgrade your houses you need them to be around your marketplace, so it is also a practicality thing

A slavic village with the most German name. Eichenhau translates roughly to Oak Cut, denominating a place where wood - in that case oak - is chopped.

@@Raycheetah Shouldn't that be a Count then? You are in charge of up to 9 holdings/villages and cities in the Early Access which seems like a bit much for a Baron IMO. Then again, haven't studied Middle Ages a lot.

I'm new in gaming... playing MANOR LORDS since 3 days now and I`m struggling in easy mode without any bandits and armies... seems almost impossibly difficult to play in normal mode for me - way to much things going on at once making me sweat blood already - and it's just 1 little village with 70 level 1 villagers... to see a playthrough like this is way beyond my wildest dreams - an absolute banger of a video!

What part are you struggling with? At first, i found it hard, but after a couple of tries and some planning, im finding the game to be getting easier. I have a set build path i do, which works for me.

@@SmileforLaughs1 well, farming and keeping up the food supply or leveling up to level 2 and so on... But I found some tutorials on KZread that sound pretty promising to me. I will take some rest and then give it a new try without farming but gardening instead. Then exporting some planks to get more income and we'll how that turns out 😅

@stianthijsen4784 pretty much what i was going to suggest. I start with 1 masive Burgage plot and then have it grow carrots. The bigger the better, and then have a couple of chicken coops. During the summer, i only have 1 family gather berries and then switch them to huntint when winter starts. On my 2nd year, I make a massive Burgage for my apple farm, and then i make 1 every year after for a 3 year rotation. This pretty much solves my food problem in the game.

If there are modding tools for this game it could become one of the legendary games.

I'd love to see a 500 or 1000 days in Project Zomboid, love the vids, keep up the great work

There's currently only the one early access map. When you complete the scenario goal you can either restart or keep playing the map.

Yeah only one map in early access rn, but I'm guessing there will be more added in the future. When you conquer it all (in the Restore the Peace scenario) you get the victory screen but you can just play endless from then on and do whatever you want.

I play this game and i love it they should add more faction or more stuff in the future for the update.

There was a demo on steam, but they removed it...gotta wait for a few days so we can finally play it

i hope for the next update , it is like in their trailer that have many region and many lord in it. Diplomacy will be the greatest feature in that game. maybe alliance ? imagine if a lord claim land then others lord counter it and make coalition to help his friend claim that land or defend that land, then big battle happen. It will be greatest game all of time.

same here... I only get the company of archers, it doesn't matter that it is renewed every month, it's just that there is the same company over and over again, there is no longer variety like at the beginning of my game...

Basically it is unfinished and not really fit for consumption and with only one worker on it it may never be a fully fleshed out work??? I'll monitor modding when that opens up and then revisit.

It's a city builder game, there is not such thing as finishing it. Set your own goals and play the way you want, the scenarios are there more as a suggestion rather than shackles to get you playing on the rails. I personally love the freedom.

everything is cool and interesting! but I didn't understand one thing! After you have captured all the territories, is that all...!? end of the game? after that you just develop the territories and build and that’s it? no one attacks anymore? it is sad! if it is true!

Bandits will still attack you every year, but keep in mind this is still early access, so if endless play after the scenario doesn't suit you yet, there's still a lot more coming in the future.

It really depends what your goals are. I've put 30ish hours in so far and haven't gotten bored yet, but I'm also just happy playing endless city builders setting my own goals etc. Also keep in mind the game is still missing a lot of stuff, so as time goes on the amount of hours you'll be able to put in and have fun is gonna rise significantly.

No not yet. The paying customer you know the people that actually support the developer get naturally shafted. We don't get the game early, we don't get to generate revenue from views and clicks, we don't get a free copy, etc. No hate for anyone in particular, I just hate the industry and how upside down and inside out it is. I hate how the minority rules the majority. I'm a vegetarian do I think I'm special or deserve better treatment? Hell no. I'm the minority it's not my right to go to a family barbecue and complain there's no avocado. I know my place. That's how it should be. The majority should overrule the minority.
