The red door jams kill the entire wrap. If there was anything he needed to spraypaint black, it was those areas.

Main reason I have never wrapped a car. As soon as you open a door the entire aesthetic of the car is ruined.

coming from someone who bought a vehicle specifically to wrap, I was only looking for black,silver or grey (white shows too much). Ended up with silver and it’s never bothered me 2 wraps in :)

Yes, Knowing Low vs High Surface Energy is very important for proper adhesion. Wrapping is both an art & science. Also w/ color changes (without removing all accessories which increases price dramatically) attention to the contrast of the applied color against the base color is crucial for good coverage results.

I don’t think people realize how difficult this is to do by yourself. Wrap shops have 2 or 3 experienced people doing one car. He lays it all out on his own. Props bro

Yeah bro I work at a wrap shop and wrap whole cars by myself everyday. This is nothing special. He cuts corners. Spray paints the edges of body panels to he doesn’t have to fully tuck all the way. Doesn’t take emblems off nor does he take trim off. I’d be highly impressed if just one of these wraps he does last longer than a week without any lifting.

Paradox what’s up bro! I enjoy your videos. I have noticed when u wrap over primed areas u don’t sand them. So when u wrap it looks very dirty and u can see it thru the wrap. A quick hand sand with 320 and some IPA should do the trick. Most the cars u do are very custom so this tip should do them best. Try it out and u will see. Keep these coming because I learn from u too.

yes that is correct but, the deal is that people need to sand their stuff before coming to me. I dont do any bodywork at all so if you bring it rough im wrapping over it.

@@ParadoxTheWrapper not a good business attitude. The finished product is a reflection of your work. If the car is not ready, say no. People looking at the work after don't care if the owner prepped the car, they just see bad work.

Dude does mediocre work with Chinese material that scratches and fades easy because it’s so thin and nonetheless over price it. He doesn’t even wash the cars before he wrap, much less the work he do is a 6/10 at best. Got a couple complains about dude on Reddit wouldn’t let him wrap my push scooter 😂😂

How come the inside door doesn’t get wrapped? Specially when mixing colors that don’t match well I see that a lot

One thing people miss on these cars and circles in general; you can take those lights out and lay a piece over the hole and cut a circle in the middle and it will stretch right in without issue. I’ve done it tons of times. Soooo much easier!

Don't wrap over messed up clear coat. It'll come off on the wrap and you'll lose that piece not to mention you'll see and the messed up clear coat under the wrap. Sand it smooooth
