Not sure if you know this trick or not, but if you soak the cans in hot water for about 10-15 mins, it helps the paint flow out the can better

I wrap my cans with an electric heating pad. Keeps the temperature consistent. I used to use hot water but stopping to boil water slows me down to finish my project.

I click on your video to learn about paint cars, but ended up hearing a greater message. Thanks for allowing God to use you to share his word with us. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, so others can see Jesus in you and that we all can be saved when Jesus returns.👍👍

So this is the reason why I’m seeing so many cars in this color. It’s certainly cost effective and it looks decent if you don’t have a trained eye. Not everyone has $9k for a bodyshop refinish on a $10k valued used car. Good stuff.

Cracks me up the wwii surplu gray paint used in the late 40s and 50s has come back so hard. And God Bless.

For anyone who wants to do this but doesnt feel comfortable doing it. Go to a junkyaard, get a front fender, ding it up, bondo it sand, paint it and learn yourself and leave it outside for a few months to see what you can do. Best way I learned ..

Is Rustoleum working on a better spray nozzle? Lots of half-full cans end up in the trash because they stop spraying after a few uses, even after "clearing" the nozzle or even soaking in paint thinner.

I couldn’t afford such a price for the complete paint job and Im glad that the body shop is willing just to straighten up the body and prime it all. Dude please hook this car up with the 2k clear!! I have a 97 civic coupe and I love it. Depending on how I drive I get 280 to 380 miles on a tank of gas. I once achieved 400 on 10 gallons, and another time got 387 on 8 gallons but that time was pure highway road trip cruising at 65mph. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months now and I do see myself taking on the project of doing my car with spray cans. I’m mostly concerned about doing the prep work correct, and also the fact that I don’t have a garage. I’m in an apartment and park in a car port, but even thought of draping cover using the car port posts😂😂 but yeah prep work and the work area are my biggest hold backs right now. I haven’t painted anything before so and I don’t want my first time to look like crap. Also my car desperately needs paint, half of the clear coat is gone and a lot of the paint itself is faded so I’m not just trying to paint a perfectly good car for no reason. Mostly straight body too with a few small dings….so with all that I still have a lot to think about before taking it it all on. When ever if happens I’ll definitely be referencing your videos. Pretty sick timing with that new cap you used too, seems to be better than the regular cans so I’m glad I’m far from starting. I’ll be looking for those cans when I get around to it. Still need to chose a color….my car is black and just want to do that but I believe you mentioned in a previous video that black shows alllllllll the flaws. So I dunno, I haven’t 100% landed on a color. If you even see this long ass comment please do more with your brothers civic!!!

What got me my second job was my rattle can paint job, the owner of a local body shop saw me painting one of my vws thought it was funny until he saw when I was finished and couldn't believe I laid it down with spray paint 😂 you did a fantastic job🎉

You know there are grips for spray cans right ? Not only that but I feel you would benefit from getting a specialized tip/cap from a graffiti store. A fat tip/cap would help you cover greater area, with better pressure control. Essentially being able to use any kind of spray paint
