​@@LoLAthlete Apart from the G2 today. It's still G2 tho xD I think the G2 right now has the potential to be better than the G2 2019. Yike ist reeeally promising and can be better than Jankos. It's about the lanes and especially Caps. If Caps can show his old skills and If someone like Yike can get more experience on stage - I am really looking forward to G2 this year.

@@LoLAthlete Yes! It's just fun to watch G2 right now. Especially Yike as a new jungler completely surprised me. In my opinion they have the potential to be the best G2 until now. They aren't quite there yet, but they look really good!

I don't know why this popped up in my ytb feed even though I stopped watching playing lol and watching pro play 3 years ago, but you really made me cry. And this video made me want to watch pro play again and all day I have stayed up looking over the changes that occured after 2020 in lec and g2 specifically and I went from nostalgia to depression watching the evolution of g2 and especially what happened to Carlos. Poor man...

This was inspiring to read. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with when watching the 2019 world finals with G2 and FPX. No other team made me so invested and root for their success (maybe 2014 C9 or 2015 Origen). I’m glad you were able to go down that nostalgic road. And yea I guess Ocelotes era is over…

@@KlausCiocannis for me G2 was always about the players. First Perkz/Jankos then Caps joined the team. Their managment has always been sus tho even Perkz said how they kept him in contract jail and stopped him from joining teams he wanted to. In my opinion G2 succeeds in spite of their upper-management not because of it

@@LoLAthlete a team can't exist without investors and thus it can't exist without management so for me the players and management are all equal in my eyes. Wouldn't have hurted me this much if at least the players and Grabbz were still here however. Truly wish they could remake the golden G2 era team someday

Do y'all remember what we all thought when caps switched from Fnatic to G2 directly after making worlds finals and Perkz moved to ADC?? I'm just a caps fan so I moved instantly, I watched all those first games live I remember them so well, they were weird at first, but even the fact that they were winning was so surprising to so many people, everybody thought it was the goofiest craziest idea ever like Perkz and Caps were rivals!! It was just crazy idk that it then became this

As a T1 fan, peak G2 was literally a nightmare.

Just got recommended this it aint the G2 hype like it was, but its a chance, they were unstoppable at 2019

Its a crime that this peak G2 wasnt able to win worlds...

@@LoLAthlete Honestly currently something like Adam, Bo(not sure if it counts cause import in case it doesn’t then I’d pick Yike), caps, upset(even though not playing he seems like te best Adc in the west currently) and maybe Mikyx? Not to sure about the support pick

i think the best choice for a european superteam is top bb, jg eloya, mid caps, adc comp and support trymbi.

Whats your thoughts on actual G2 roster?

I think their current roster is solid by LEC standards, they have an aggressive rookie jungler with untapped potential, a decent top lane, Hans Sama seems to be peaking at the right time with Mikyx, and Caps has always been a top 2 mid in EU. I think in Europe the only team to challenge them would be Vitality but that's from the difference in Top/Jungle (mainly Bo). Internationally it's hard to tell cause even last year with winning LEC spring they didn't look too hot against LCK/LPL

I mean no one ever picked Pyke top before G2, in solo queue some people played him mid but it was definitely G2 that put him on the map
