to be honest, there are tons of road design out there, not only confuses the computer, but confuses the hell out of me sometimes, why not everybody just feedback to TESLA and make it better over time.... cough Google, still cowering in the corner somewhere and making very little progress

So realistically 0 interventions 1 if we're nitpicking since it didn't see rocks. For me it avoids SOME potholes and bigger "trash" in the road, rocks probably not unless they're big enough. Moving slowly isn't an intervention. It's being overly careful with pedestrians and other vehicles around (sure you'd get honked at and raged on by other humans but it would have proceeded on eventually). Not taking the turn you wanted it to take isn't an intervention, and parking lots aren't roads. The FSD freeway stack is still version 11 BTW, only city driving stack is V12. And lastly, FSD is usually activated with 1 pull not double pull of the stalk, enabling FSD disables TACC (single pull) and Autopilot (double pull) at least on AP V4 hardware.

Well moving slowly or not moving at all when it can move I consider it to be an intervention, its not bring safe on the road and confusing other drivers and pedestrians. I never counter not turning where i wanted it to turn as an intervention. The turning issue towards the end is an issue FSD has with almost all forks. This isn’t the first time this happened. Just the first time on camera. Hope this helps

Was nor sure hot to contact you. If you are interested. Spotted the first Cybertruck in Montreal, parked in someone's driveway. It was first spotted by a neighbor of mine around a week ago (the Monday after the EV show). And I spotted it there again today when out for a jog. Could not see the back plates as it was on private property and I was not going to step on private property. Not sure how they got it. As far as I know not been delivered in Canada. I would say about 1.5-2 K from where your Tesla "almost crashed".

Took our 2024 M3 out for an FSD drive today for the first time. I will ignore the navigation issues like, missing the entrance to the office etc, Not an FSD thing, but the maps show my neighbourhood as 40K/H. but the speed limit is actually 30K/H. When FSD spotted a 30K/H sign it slowed down. On some streets where it is 50K/H, the map showed 30K/H and that is what the car drove at. Good thing it was a quiet Saturday morning. It blew the stop sign and Vanier CEGEP. Granted that it is a bit recessed and weather torn, but still visible with speed bumps and clear crosswalk. It also did not notice the person about to cross between 2 parked cars. Cote Vertu turning right onto Marcel Laurin, I had to slam on the breaks as it ignored the red right arrow light. On another street it stopped at the red light, bu made a left turn as soon as the straight green arrow went on. still red left arrow. Parking was fun. Not sure when I will test it again. Not sure about testing it in the middle of the week. On a positive note, we were on a one way street, and out of the blue it kind of parked. I was confused as our destination was across the small park. Then realized that there was someone coming out of a common driveway who was signaling left to go the wrong way on a one way street. FSD pulled out of the way to give him space to go the wrong way on a one way street.

@@robb233 12.3.4. Funny thing is, today while my wife was driving it, it kind of did the same thing. We were NOT using FSD. She was at a red light in a left turn lane. Them main lights turned green (green straight arrow) and the gar did the ping that it does when the lights are green. You know, when it says, "sleepy head, the light turned green a nano second ago" :). On the panel, it showed green lights, so the Tesla thought it was a green light. So now not so sure if the issue is with FSD, or the latest upgrade we got when FSD 12.3.4 was installed. Car is on 2024.3.15. I am not sure if it was doing this on the previous version. Also today figured out that the right scroll button in FSD mode is used to increase or decrease the max speed the car will do in that zone. Could have used that yesterday. :) The other interesting things is this, I was coming back from Costco. There are 2 lanes that turn left. I was on the outside one. Tesla did the turn correctly. We were starting to go on the overpass()over the highway) where the entrance we needed is on the right side. So Tesla goes from the right lane to the middle lane in FSD. I am like screaming at it (like it can hear me) "Tesla, what are you doing?". The Tesla a bit after signals and goes back to the right lane to get on the highway. Then I got home and told the story to my son and asked him, what did they teach you in driving school? What do you do after you make a turn onto a street? He told me, go to the middle lane. So Tesla did it correct, I do in incorrectly. :)

You were down the street from me at Place Vertu super charger. You did not ping me for a coffee! :) We just got it today, and my wife tried it and she got concerned as the car was turning the steering wheel left and right. We will try again on the weekend. FSD is still Beta, call is supervised, beta, assist. With a million or so test drivers for a month, we will see what it is like by the famous 8/8 date. The 2 slow interventions, not sure I would count them as an intervention, unless you had to speed up to avoid an incident. I do not see us spending 16K+tax. I heard that the talk on the street is that the monthly model is being planned for Canada. Thank you for the video.

Thank you for watching the video! Yea i guessed some people wouldn’t count it as interventions since it didn’t stop an accident. And for the monthly subscription i still think subscriptions is going to be too expensive to justify. A per use payment system would increase the take rate a lot more but i’m still excited for the monthly sub to come to Canada so i can do more FSD videos

Probably will but it would be to try out different features. I don’t know about subscription every month. 100$ every month i would need 4 FSD to justify paying for it every month.

FSD is not FSD if it's expected for you to intervene. Maybe call it ISD, Intermittent Self Driving.

You freaked out at 10.00 but the car just wanted to go left - not causing a crash. You can see the direction it was taking on your screen. It seems to me that you overreacted. Correct me if I am wrong.

Seemed like your Nav ended and car was just driving. I would have just ended it and drove to the charger not really causing anything. We know the car when Nav ends it doesn't react the same.
